Weird. True leaves below cotyledons

Weird, the stem is shedding and the coty is about to drop, but a fan leaf is developing underneath stopping the process.

Popped beginning of september. In dwc with a HUGE rootmass compared to the veg size. A little bit of nute burn so it's in aerated tap water right now.

Anyone see anything like this? I wanted to give her special treatment from the others, shes wedged in between 2 big 40w cfl clamps shining on the whole thing: 40(*)40

You should have soil up to the level of the cotyledons, is the best height to judge by

Well I'll be damned. Now I've seen it. It's just a random genetic trait, I'd just end up plucking that part off anyways. Ain't gonna do much down there, if it does grow it'll most likely be retarded growth.

Its in DWC so I cant raise the soil. It seems as if there is actually multiple true leaves under each cotyledon. Im gonna make sure to get light down there and see what happens. I cant tell if they are going to shed with the stem or are underneath it.
