Weird miracle grow soil

why the fuck were there little flies and worms in the soil?

That's kind of a stupid question, here's a better one, what kind of dumbass would buy Miricle Grow soil with little flies and worms in it?

Ahh man you didn't buy that shit did ya? Get you some Purely organic dirt and mix your perlite, vermiculite, blood and bone meal, then get you some decent Fox Farm organic soil formula nutes or you could buy your dirt from them, great shit already mixed. I like to mix my own, hell I got plants in ebb and flow, dripp irr and aero and dirt. I am doing a bit of a test to see what does what better. Using white widow clones. Hope this helps. im not sure if you can see into the bag of soil at the store. and as i learned the hard way being a dick for no reason gets you a vacation

ditch that miracle grow shit not just cause worms and flies but cause theyre chems cause cancer if smoked use promix its the goddamned shit

Lol.. Now miracle grow causes cancer... shieeet lol.

Little flies are common in a grow room, as long as they're not really harming the plant.. which they're not. As for the worms and other shit... I'd suggest some new soil.
I've personally used MG and never a problem.

here's a better question how are you supposed to know if they're in there if the bag is sealed you fuckin dick? grow some brains and think before you speak douchebag

yea, i've been using MG but this last bag of organic MG was really moist

That could be the reason for the flies n worms n shit bro... Bad soil, mg is not to blame ... you might be able to return it to the place you bought.

it isnt uncommon to have bugs in cheap soils... i've used the ole mg produts... hell, i vegged with some of their nutes this grow.. its fine; next time, bake or microwave the dirt to kill off nasties

used all of it, i didn't see anything until the bottom of the bag

my first grow, and i used some similar soil in scott's potting soil mix. i also had a few bugs emerge, but i can say i was surprised. i think from now on i will use different soil and not the pre-fertilized type. It doesn't cause carcinogenic smoke. If that were the case all our vegetables and fruits grown in it would kill us to.

any clue as to why MG dries out so quickly it wilted my plant in 2 days?

i dunno, maybe really good drainage... i personally prefer to have an extremely well draining soil... something i can water everday...
but in my exp, the mg soils compact fairly quickly, and drainage starts becoming a problem...

thats really wack.

My plants are growing well in M.G soil, all are bright green don't know why M.G gets a bad rep. I had problems with (ACE potting soil) more like mud no drainge. Had to repot with 2/3 M.G soil and 1/3 perlite plants have responded well.

the perlite will definately help you out with aeration/drainage... people just bag on the mg cause it normally has time release nutes in it... then they feed their plants on top of that and burn the piss out of em...

I always open the bag a little bit, am I the only one who does that. Why would you buy something if you don't even look at it first? DUMBASS!!!!!!
