I just rounded week 6 about a week ago. Things were looking pretty banger but after leaving town for work for 9 days, I came back and things are going a little coco for coco puffs. And I'm pretty damn pissed off about it. More than anything though, I have some strange strange stuff going on. i have NEVER seen anything like this.

So I'm hydro and using botanicare base nutes, ginourmous the first four weeks, some kelp foliar and when I feel like it, liquid light. I noticed that I didn't manage to kill every single mite from the last round and they were back.. Right before I flipped 12/12 I sprayed the plants with mite-rid. This knocked them doown but before my trip I noticed them again. Frustrated as hell, I picked up some floromite even though it is pretty damn toxic stuff and sprayed it before I left for work.

Now, I have one or two plants that are throwing seeds. Soo many seeds that I have to think there is a herm in there somewhere. My room is uber crowded so I guess its time to get on my hands and knees.

What is weird is that on a few of the strains, the stems are REALLY engorged. Small little stems are no about the diameter of a drinking straw. Also, the nodes are really engorged and white. It looks like really frankenstein. I'll post some pics later.

To me, it looks like either the floromite caused some kind of adverse reaction or perhaps I have some kind of borer bug but I don't that given the chemical treatments the have recieved.

Any thoughts?

You might have caused a stress hermie is my first thought, spraying a plant with a toxic chem. The stems may be getting thicker if the plant is pollenated to support it. Hard to tell without pics. If that's the case then at least you're getting fem'd seeds.

First thing you should do if you haven't already is swap out your water in case there's any lingering toxins. I'd be careful with floromite I've read places that it's for ornamental plants only and it lingers. I know you were in a tight spot but if it starts storing that shit in the buds that could be a big problem.

ok folks. Well I did some digging around, wrote down all the things I did over the last couple weeks and I determined what the hell is wrong with some of the plants.

But, as to not spoil the fun, I'll let people guess what the problem is/was and then I'll post the definitive answer this evening.

LIES!
It looks swollen, like a fat boy who's allergic to bees.
I'm guessing when you sprayed, an active chemical in the spray removed the top layer of skin, which I think is cellulose?
Or it locked out certain nutrients, causing the plant to attempt to grow structure that is missing imporant pieces.

I could be way off but at least I tried!
Oh and I'll forget this thread is here, can you PM me or come get me in one of my journals? haha.

Beware of the kelp it could be from Japan they produce alot of it, that place is a glowing pit of death, its just not making the news. They don't want a panic. I would guess its the radioactive kelp. If the plant looks mutated to you. Check where the kelp was grown, I suspect Japan.

LOL WTF did u just say radioactive kelp is the cause now that is sum funny shit!!
What is so funny about us being exposed to radiation and causing mutations? Look here http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2012/04/23/michigan-plants-mutated-due-radioactive-fukushima-nuclear-fallout-125991/Kelp exported from Japan is much more exposed to radiation than where this plant mutated.REad the real news at Rense.com regarding the radiation. The real news is not on TV anymore, that is for feeding people bullshit like war propaganda etc etetera
