week 8+ Bubble Bumble Bee

so I'm 8 week (2 days) into my 1st grow , I'm 5 days away from week 9.
And I was wondering if I should harvest at week 9 or wait another week.

What do the trichs look like? They look great, but you really need to get a scope and see what they look like to know when to harvest.

They look to me like they could go another week, but like the man said go by the trichs.

moar pictures

when I take macro pictures with my camera I can see them really close up, and from what I can tell I've only spotted a couple of amber/ brownish trichs.

by a couple I mean like 2 on a whole bud.

damn.....they look amazing. SUPER FROSTY! They do look like they could fill out a little though. Since this is your first grow, I imagine you are using soil. You might have as much as 2-3 weeks left. I would start watering with distilled h20 soon to clean out some of those nutes and or salt buildups. You may even want to do a complete leaching if you've been heavy on the nutes. Take a close look with a scope. You want to see at least 1/4 amber trichs. When they clear trichs start to turn cloudy, thats when you want to flush. GOOD LUCK

growing on canna cocoa, it's mashed up cocoa shells I think
been great so far anyways.
I think I'm gonna go ahead and wait another week and then chop em.

add a teaspoon or a teaspoon and a half of black strap molasses to the distilled water for the flush. It adds carbohydrates to be used by the plant and some people say it adds flavor during the last two weeks.

went by the store and picked up some nitrogen, distilled h2o and black strap molasses.

so after all the cutting and crap I still have some bud left on my girls and have a bunch drying out, and 4 jars of bud, 1 jar has been curing for about days, on the 3rd day I dried out 2 of my bigger colas because they seemed too wet, so my questing is after 6 days of jar curing and 1 of paper bag curing, think it's ready for a good smoke?, just those couple of colas anyway

probably not, because you did like the exact opposite of what you were supposed to do. Your supposed to put them in a brown paper bag or hang them up to dry first. Then you put them in the jar to cure, but idk what ever works for you, only you can tell if they're ready to smoke, i say pack a one hitter and decide if they're still a little to moist or not. If not, toke away

I did hang dry them for a week prior to the curing, or atleast up until the point where the nug snapped off.

and no I waited 9 weeks of flowering, some buds 11 weeks, and have some popcorn nugs still on there.

looking good. canna coco is great because it does not have the salt build up of other companies products. super crystally bro.

Oh. ok i'm on first grow just tring to figure some things out. I have 28 plants half are purple kush and they look great right now the top buds are about the size of golf balls, but the the other plants ( hawian snow, sensi star, and strawberry cough) are taller and the side branchs are almost as long as the plant is tall. But the buds on the non-kush plant are not even half of what the kush is, there gitting the same amount of light? i'm trying to do 1 harvest, what do you think?

i'd let thoes go for another 2 weeks man
