is it work for auto?Definitely has a ways to go. That’s some leafy bud. A bitch to trim. Reduce your light time to 11 hours for a week and if they still aren’t ready reduce to 10-1/2 hours.

Does shortening the light cycle from 12.12 really do anything?Definitely has a ways to go. That’s some leafy bud. A bitch to trim. Reduce your light time to 11 hours for a week and if they still aren’t ready reduce to 10-1/2 hours.
I’ve never done a side by side to say with any certainty. But since we try our best to emulate nature it can’t hurt.Does shortening the light cycle from 12.12 really do anything?
Makes sense.I’ve never done a side by side to say with any certainty. But since we try our best to emulate nature it can’t hurt.
I would say it was probably some time after equinox because of civil twilight. That’s the light after the sun actually sets. But that’s just a guess from growing outside down in the Lower 48.Makes sense.
A lot of strains indicate an outdoor harvest time of "end of September/October". The longest day of 2023 was June 21.
Do you think 6/21 is when all the outdoor plants went '12/12'?
6/21 to end of September is 14 weeks.
If the 12/12 light change in nature was 6/21 that probably means these strains need at least 12 weeks flowering time indoor. Thoughts??
I gave her 24 hours of light from day 1Auto or photo - both work on photosynthesis.
I’ve never had an auto finish outdoors up here. Alaska. Came close once. This is the main reason I theorize reducing light hours to get autos to finish. I only run them outdoors and for fun at that. We’re running 35 plants in a greenhouse and only 2 are autos. Cuttings are taken all through the season from the photos. Then just before freeze the plants with just tops by then are brought in under lights. The damned autos have to go in with them.I gave her 24 hours of light from day 1
