I used to go from cubed clone to 1 gal bags.. then onto 5 or 7 Gal pots. Not having to transplant has been a blessing. It also doesn't shock the plant at all. Because there' no transplant....

A well trans’plant’ed plant won’t have any shock..

The shock (slow/no growth usually) you see is because her rootmass hasn’t begun filling in the additional space as it was rootbound before the transplant.

If you repot before seeing signs of stunting due to being rootbound the plant will continue at its normal pace :)
