It’s definitely a different culture than SoCal. Though, I must say, I know a local born-again surfer dude (born-again into Trump Evangelism...) who sounds a lot like Cali with their juxtapositioned positivity/grandstanding.
Just my opinions. I’m only in my second year (fourth cycle) of growing and just ordered my first seeds this year (Seedsman; World of Seeds) so I’m unfamiliar with the bank he praises but it does sound a bit preachy.
Full disclosure- I was born in SoCal but moved to NorCal at 4- I’m almost 40 now.
Any Mendo/Humboldt seedbank recommendations? I just got Freakshow (Humboldt Seeds), and sure enough, even as a seedling on its second set the leaves are looking like fir leaves.

Cold and rainy here, but made a spot inside and using closet “damper” (heat) rods inside of an extra large (4 foot long, 1&1/2 foot high) tray with a dome, and two 4 foot T5s (6500k) suspended above, they keep warm and sunny.
Have a greenhouse with electricity for when it warms a little, as their next step. Was fortunate to have had folks who loved gardening so a lot of infrastructure is there for me.

Damn! Lots of stupid blowhards out there. This thread is like listening to a middle school argument. They had some RD gear I couldn’t get at my normal spots so I ordered from WGFT and am glad I did. I like DCSE, Greenline for cheap packs and lots of others. I don’t care who anyone orders seeds from I just think all the disrespectful attitudes are stupid. Being an ass doesn’t look very intellectual.

Weed Guardian Family Tree, not for me either. Not any more. I placed an order with them in 2020 and order was shipped three days later. Great! Placed my second order with them, with an immediate Paypal payment, on April 5th. I was told my order would be "added to their shipping cycle". After 2 weeks I emailed them asking what their shipping cycle was so I might know when to expect my seeds. They replied "We greatly apologize for the delay. We are still processing orders as quickly as possible." Four weeks after placing my order I emailed them again asking them to either ship my seeds or refund my payment. That was three days ago with no word back. In the meantime I'm receiving all kinds of emails from them with sales, promotions and new seed drops.
Will update as time goes by.

I placed my Order April 4th. I keep getting the same run around as you OrgrO. They tell you anything to shut you up. Totally has fucked my season up.

Same here. 5 weeks in and nothing. I had seeds from them before. Not sure what happened. I would say now they are 100% rip off. Oh well. Live and learn. Fuck them.

I was told my order would be shipped by the end of the week with free seeds for the inconvenience. We will see.

6 weeks?! Apparently the owner blew the budget on a Lambo, and can't afford help

It's now been seven weeks. I did receive an email with a tracking number Friday evening but as of this evening the post office is "awaiting package", as am I.

Here in so cal. My job along with many other dispensaries sell seeds from very reputable breeders for around the same price most from Humboldt area. However I use Caliconnect with no issues or even just ask a friend lol

After 6 weeks in with no seeds, I called Weed Guardian Family Tree. Like OrgrO, they were very apologetic blaming the delay on expansion and an influx of orders putting them one month behind. However my order had special issues and they could not get it. But it turned out they do have a lot of seeds in stock, so I worked with them and found strains that were similar to what i wanted originally. A week later, I have the seeds, plus a bunch of freebie seeds! So with that I would say Weed Guardian Family Tree is a good place to get seeds. but you may want to find out with them first to see if there are issues in ordering the seeds you want. Also best to call rather than e-mail if issues.

As I mentioned in my last post, I got seeds from WGFT before. Attached are pics of 2 girls I have now in week 4 of flower. These are from WGFT seeds from last year. I'm happy for my 2nd grow ever!!

I think until the screwy government finally legalizes weed, there will be hiccups and bumps when ordering seeds and shit like that. Once legal nation wide all this will change!

Tough Industry.

Eight weeks today and no seeds, but I did get a refund. I'm told the problem was "one of our international distributor shipments has been confiscated by customs." This tells me that my seed selection was not even in stock when I placed my order. While other seeds were clearly marked Out Of Stock, my selection was not, and still isn't.
After 7 1/2 weeks I left an honest review on line of my experience with WGFT. Having read the review they emailed me saying "Considering the recent review you left for our business we have no option but to refund you as we can not work with individuals falsely accusing our company". At this point I'm just happy to have my money back. They won't have to worry about working with me in the future, that's for sure.

Seems like a lot of angry people with very little understanding of the industry or understanding of life at that. I'm part of a licensed cultivation center here in Canada. W.G.F.T has been my go to spot since a little after their business opened its doors to seeds. On a monthly bases we can spend about $5-10k in product and although I can say shipping and order arrival times can greatly fluctuate they have NEVER done wrong by us. It's hard to believe half of these reviews but just look at the state of the world and much of it will make sense. If you're out there WGFT. Thank you for your decades of service to our community and the years of business you have provided us with! Canada is enjoying some premium Cannabis with help of your team.

Welcome brand new member!! Thank you for your professional input. I think most of the angry people are actually customers waiting for product that they ordered. However they choose to wait goes by the individual but most just want what they paid for. I don't think its much more than that honestly.

Boy that fuckboy seed company WGFT sure is trying hard to win the people over here. They fucking suck and waste peoples time and money. Some people missed there entire grow season because of them and the horrible service they offer.
Don't list something avaliable for sale and let people buy it when you don't have it to ship, simple as that.

I did.
