I know that there are ppl on here that have or still brew their own beer with weed. Now the prob. is me and my buddy have been brewing our own beer for a while now and wanted to make a weed beer. We chose an IPA and have 3 oz's of shake. When and how do we infuse the shake into the brew?

Put it in before it starts to ferment, hops and weed are in the same genus so it should work out pretty good. I would use buds though idk bout shake/leaves

better yet they make whats called a hops filter, it basically filters all the beer through a tower of hops and you could replace the hops with buds maybe.

Ya, I'd put it in towards the end of the brewing process like after the hops. My friend and I made a chamomile beer, and the recipe said to put it in like last 20-30 minutes of brewing, but I remember it was definitely after the hops. Since chamomile and cannabis are both herbs, I would assume the same technique would apply.

well its a mixture of nugs and shake but the shit is practically white cuz of the crystals. yea i got the idea to put it in with the hops and put it through a coffee filter after that.

anyone else?

If you left it in for part of the fermenting process, like the first week or maybe just a few days, the presence of weed will be much more pronounced. I've done this with both hops and chamomile, and it definitely adds to the taste, plus you might collect more of the THC, who knows?
