Weed and wax make me dizzy

So I’ve just started smoking again, it’s been about a year since I’ve smoked anything and before that it was 2010. I used to smoke a lot and nothing ever happened to me but nowadays I can smoke one hit off a blunt or one tiny little bit of wax and I get so dizzy I feel nauseous, my ears start to rind and my face starts tingling like I’m having an anxiety attack. Things people say to me are immediately forgotten and I can’t tell if I’m speaking or not. I even had half of a 10mg gummy and it did it to me. I have motion sickness so when I spin I get sick. Why is it doing this to me? Am I allergic to it or something?

Is your nose or ears also "stuffy"? You could have sinusitis with vertigo and the smoke causes the membranes to inflame.

Your face tingling makes me nervous tho. Forgetting what people say and can't tell if you are speaking. Dude wtf. I'm not even gonna say what those symptoms can mean.

it never used to do this to me though. Idk of back then it wasn’t medical grade. But I could smoke with everyone and be just fine. Onesmall hit makes me do this.

Have you tried vaporizing your cannabis? I find combusting cannabis disgusting these days. Inhaling carbon monoxide and other toxic chemicals definitely doesn't make the high more pleasant. But I guess if even edibles have negative effects... Maybe add CBD bud in the mix?

In the end what is happening is not important. Weed is supposed to provide a positive experience, if it does not than just don't use it. Same can be said for alcohol or anything for that matter. Not all things are for all people.

It takes a while for your body to buildup a tolerance for cannabis. Smoke some sugar leaves or something. Or like others say, Just Say No! Lol

Suggest a max of two tokes and walk away. If everything is cool take another. Sadly it doesn’t take long to build up a tolerance.

Each time I quit for a while then come back to it, there is a bit of a "learning curve" to get back to the point where it's magic for me again. Take single hits until you get there, which will be about a week or so, if you had stopped smoking for at least 6 mo to a year. Your body has to get used to it all over again, and so does your mind. Do something to keep your mind distracted while you smoke at first too.

Whenever i stop smoking for weeks the first 2 or 3 blunts are not pleasing at all , they give me anxiety . But at the 3rd or 4th blunt i start getting pleasure again

After 30 years of smoking, I'll tell you what I do anymore:

Take another hit and power through it. Anxiety schmangxiety.

Works for paranoia, too.

When I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, I started taking cbd for my symptoms and it worked like a magic wand. I felt more calm and peaceful. Later I chose to quit it gradually and shifted to some other alternative therapy programs. Cbd has helped me alot but later I took therapy sessions and preferred change in my environment. My therapist has been very supportive throughtout. Here is what my therapist taought me, sharing it with you thinking It might help you. https://ezcareclinic.com/methods-to-cope-with-anxiety/
