hey what do you know weed and driving do mix. check this video. its the truth ive tested it and thats what really happens. lol YouTube - Weed and driving
I still would not advocate driving while under the influence of anything. It's irresponsible and may unduly put other lives at risk, whether or not the risk truly is minimal. All of the evidence about this is purely anecdotal. I know some people say they can drive "better" while high, but I certainly would never again drive with how stoned I get; I know that personally, my reaction time goes to shit when someone else who's driving doesn't obey the rules of the road exactly.

Everyone reacts differently to every substance. While a regular smoker who's become accustomed to being high might be able to drive perfectly well, new smokers, those who smoke a lot in one sitting, and those who get just as high as when they first lit up (such as myself) may not be as safe on the road. Throw in a little old lady who's blind as a bat and comes barrelling through a red light, anyone may find their reaction time a bit impaired under such circumstances.

All truth

I always spark a blunt during to-and-fro commutes in my car. I feel extremely relaxed and well concentrated on the road. I too feel like I'm driving slow at an average speed - Like 30mph in a 60. It really depends how blitz I am. The more I'm blitz, the more I tend to reduce speed. By then everything is in slow-mo.

Like ^^ said it's all about how your body reacts to it.

The one thing I used to always do while driving high is turn on my blinker way... to early. Then I would turn it off, and back on agian once I was closer to the turn. lol. funny shit.

one time my friend and i had the munchies so i drove to town for 24/7 jack in the box. i remember paying the lady and waiting what seemed like 30 minutes. i almost fell asleep at the wheel and when i woke up i had the sudden urge to floor the gas pedal and book it towards the main st. when i got home, i was going to unpack my meal from the car and i saw nothing there..

I think it really depends on where you live. Some areas are just much easier to drive in sober, much less when on a bowl cruise. I live in an area with low traffic, and low pupulation (as far as urban areas go). We can go cruise down by the beach where there is no traffic, and we watch the sun set as we drive. And I think that its perfectly OK if the driver is willing. I wouldnt think of doing it in Manhattan... i cant even drive there sober.

I personally dont like to drive... I would much rather be a passenger, even in my own car. I get paranoid (just recently got pulled over as we were packing a bowl, 10 mins after smoking one). Luckily the cop didnt know anything and I got a verbal warning for speeding (which I wasnt).

There are too many factors to say all cruises are bad... but ill tell you this- ever play a difficult video game before and after smoking? I know Im much worse at the game after smoking, so it seems reasonable to me that my driving skills are JUST as impaired as my video game skills. And thus, I rarely drive and smoke.

Yeah dont get me wrong i still think its better to drive while sober. but i still think that what the video says is truth at least in some cases like you said. and i know this doesnt have anything to do with this, but i play tennis regularly, and one time when i was going to train i smoked before and i beat a guy i couldnt beat before, i was so concentrated, it was amazing.

That's the great thing about weed is , it is what you want it to be. If your young and have never smoked it yet your perception of pot is that you get all whacked out and giggly muchies etc when you first smoke it that exactly how you are, one guy tells me he puffs a bit while practicing moto-x helps him get in the zone ,spottig lines, ruts etc. When I did it holly fu@k Dangerous!!!!! It was just my impression of how I would react riding high, once I used it as a tool it was also dangerous tho. then I was seeing stuff that would take just a little bit more guts to pull off but cut down lap times alot, so I used it to push myself and it worked as weel as my buddie.

Same for vids. I get alot better at halo3 when I'm high, if we have a bad game my buds tell me I should have another hit.

I also live in a small town low traffic. this is a good one! We were smoking salad bowls. Some nice herb with some crubled hash topped with honey oil... I was sooo f'd we were eating some weird shit on a dare. I think I had Pickle mayo sandwich, ne how when I was driving home I had to spew bad. So I open the door without even slowing down proceeded to spew on the road while driving looking straigh down i could feel the curb on the right side so I made it down this long road all the way home blind and puking.

i love how the joint is just spinning around on the hood of the car for a minute at the start of that vid. makes me laugh every time.

since i started smoking my friends and i were mostly cruising or parked in a car toking. starting out that way, most of the folks i know are pretty comfortable driving high. its just been what we have been accustomed to for over a decade.

it probably is not the safest or smartest idea. overall tho, you are probably better off driving high than anything else.

and its pretty hard to avoid sometimes, you stop for a quick spliff at your buddys before going to a movie or whatever

smoking happens.

I have to admit I am guilty of smoking and driving...especially here locally. I don't leave the house unless I am totally blitzed. When I'm on long rides then it really depends on what time of day it is. If it's daylight I'll spark up in a second, but if it's nightime I tend to hold off. If I get too high driving at night it gives me tunnel vision and panick attacks.

shit i spent most of my high school life hittin roadies and road partys. one time we had a 18 car road train, we just drove around smoking all buds, we would stop everybody would park along the backroad get out and switch into differnt vehicles. it was some badass times. In fact were i use to live hitting roadies is an everyday thing, you got so many damn back roads and country roads that the police NEVER patrol so what else should ya do??

but all in all, i love sparkin up a nicely rolled blunt in the car, put some tunes on, set the cruise control, damn those were some good times, fucking gas prices ruined it tho

we rolled a car once because of marijuana! we were looking for the roach between the seats when we drove up a guide wire at slow speed, just barely turning us over. was actually pretty funny.
