I cannot figure out how to get my bho into wax form..i have tried multiple times with multiple different results. most of the time I end up with a sticky stretchy hash, kinda like caramel. sometimes stickier then others and usually still partly wet. i'm I not sturring long enough? also think I might have over heated it a couple times?

I usually do about 12 cans with grinded up surgar leaves. then let butain evaporate then start whipping while pan sits in warm water. last few I let sit in the warm water over night.. I use power 5x and glass tubes.. any tips anyone??
thanks

Is that all you do to purge it? Put it in warm water after extracting and then whip it? That's not enough. My friend puts his wax in a glass container in a pan on a skillet, I forgot what temperature he sets it at, but that fully purges it and turns out super nice. But how to get the budder form instead of a gooey super melt form, I honestly don't know. But getting all of the butane out is the main thing.

forget wax, you don't need air in your oil. just get the tane out and dab it.
Some people like the waxy consistency and milder taste from boiling off some of the terpines. To make your bho into wax, you have to whip and slowly heat your oil after you have fully purged it. You can not heat too much, or it will never wax up. Also it is better to use fresher material which has been thoroughly dried. Some strain wax up fairly quickly while others may take hours of stirring. Work low and slow.

thanks a lot irieie!! your right the low and slow is the way to go. last batch turned out perfect. so I have a batch that I over cooked, too hot, is really sticky, like some old syrup. Is there any way to get this to a wax or is it forever going to be an oil?

Its done bro it will probably never wax. You can let it sit out and dry for a week or so if you would like and see what it does. Might end up as amber glass.glad I could be of some help. But the problem is making wax is something that you truly learn by doing my direction will only take it so far. There are so many variables that are unknown to me about the way you do it. Keep trying and do what works just make small changes and then work off the results. You'll get the hang of it. Its not magic just takes a little thinking and experience.

That pic is so unpurged has so much butane still.. I did a first batchof w.e trim n came out dank honeycomb mason jar with mityvac pumped full vac in bowl of water on top of eletric skillet at 180degrees scrapped right after wax was stable out the tube onto parchment paper. Turns to shatter at 120 degrees then wax at 125-140
