Watt to Pound Ratio (indoor)

I know it can't be exact, but with LED, controlled climate & good genetics what could an average to good grower get with say 10,000 watts? & what would be more or less needed to get 40 pounds, tysm :)

Even if youre talking about pulling 10000w at the wall you're looking at like 1.8g/w which isn't unreasonable but you'd have to have a pretty exceptional grow to get those numbers. Just remember most leds that say 1000w only pull maybe 300 at the wall.

Anyways I'm pretty sure that DE has been proven to be the heaviest yielder per light. Plus it's cheaper to start up, with that much light the ventilation and cooling setups would be almost identical anyways and getting a good led setup would cost a small fortune compared to 3-500 a fixture. If you have a way to get rid of that much consistently the difference in running cost would be something you could eat and still make ends meet.

Essentially you're looking running a commercial sized grow, with a couple rooms staggered. You could probably get that much in the time it would take to do 1 large harvest.

The ratios are something like
Single ended hps ~1 g/watt
Led 1.5-1.7 g/watt
Cmh ~1.5 g/watt
De ~2 g/watt
