Watering seedlings in coco/feeding

Hi guys,

I have planted 4 seeds in coco natural straight in 16L pots but only around 12L of coco is in each pot.

The problem with big pots and seedling is watering so I want to ask you when and how much to water them ?

They are 1 week old under 600hps light( i know its too much)

Should I water until run off ? Or if they are still young should I spray them with water ?

Also, if I want to start adding canna a+b but not sure how much to add if they are still this young.

Right now I'm using rhizotonic.

Looking forward to your help guys!

Until you are getting dry back of roughly 60%-70% in a 24 hour period only water when needed. That will creat a nice rootball. then you can start daily feedings.

Looks like no one helped the brother out here.... OP, how did it go? I'm transitioning away from solo cup and starting right into a 1/2 gallon fabric. Kinda nervous because the solo seemed a little easier to get the hang of as far as the first few days of watering...

It is getting better. Leafs are still a bit yellow but new one coming out are looking lot better. Got my ph pen now so watering is also good.

I dont know but got new seed in small cup instead of big one but it looks like it will die, it actually started in better environment then her older sister you know. She is only few days old but looking bad already. Looks like growing in big pots from the start was better option.

Once this grow is done I will get some autos as it is better to start in final pots with them and dont need light changing.

I go from rapid rooters to solo cups to 5 gal fabric pots, all in coco/perlite. I've also gone from rapid rooters straight to 5 gal pots. IMO, water/ feed only about a shot glass worth in a circle while they are small seedlings. Then, start increasing as the roots grow but don't feed to runoff for a couple of weeks. Do this in solo cups or final pots. I use a little rhizotonic and cal-mag for the first week or so, then start Canna A & B + Rhizotonic and cal-mg at a low strength. Don't forget that coco has no nutrients so you can't go too long with straight water.
