I would water 2 times during light hours
Realy? how about if your experiencing hot conditions?
surely you wouldnt water in the middle of the day when its hot?

just to add i always water with water that is of the same temp as the soil that im adding to to ensure i dont cause shock. i would leave a can of water in the green house for 24 hours .
Any thoughts on this?

yeah, dont water when its hot, water it every night when the sun starts to go away. use nutrients once a week.
if it is in it's firt 2 weeks of growth water it once every 3 days. if it rains more than 5MM in that time you wont need to. only when theres alot of sun. once it gets bigger the more you water!
good luck

ALLAN666, as long as your water isnt right out of the tap cold, it will be fine. it takes alot to shock the roots.. you should only need to leave it out for 1/2-1 hour. think of how fast a can of pop or bottle of water or a nice cold beer, would take to warm while sitting out..

Water in the moenings so the sun has time to dry the top soil out. That will help stop fungus and other moisture problems You can't tell the plant when it needs or wants water. The plant will tell you. if your soil is good and you water slow and well. a couple times a week sould do it. Again don't over water mj likes the root to dry a bit. don't feed more than every other feeding and start in a low nute mix.

lol I use ice cubes to water most of my plants outside. One the cold water doesen't hurt a plant. two if you use ice it lets the soil soak up more of the water.

Thanks guys, very helpfull,
the reason i mantioned leaving water for 24 hours waqs to evapourate chlorine which i guess is not good for any plant, again, comments appreciated guys.
thanks

Then your stupid imo. Don't much care about your thoughts. If you haven't tried it don't knock it. I do and have used it. so I actuly know it works.
As for frost it affects the plant not the root. Fyi the root is under ground and frost does not hurt them. when the ground freezes it affects the root. The ice melt warms as it works threw the soil.

IN my opinion, the best time to water is when the sun starts to go down.then when you water your plant no sun or heat can vaporate your water through the soil which can cause over salting the soil, which is a big problem.so the best time to do it is when sun is going down and the temps. isnt that high.
keep up the good work.
