Watering practices, ph in organic amended coco

I grow autos in 3 gal pots, air, fabric, nursery pots. I use coco loco, amended with giga green 444, giga green 284, bat guano, worm castings, & mykros. I have been growing for a year and a half. I have tried watering when dry, & watering everyday. I have also tried using lower ph 5.5 - 6.2 & I have used ph of 6.3 - 6.8. I have had mixed results bad & good, kind of depending on the strain. Just wondering what everyone's opinion is on how often I should water in coco with organic ammendments & what is the right ph for growing in coco with organic ammendments? Thanks for the help.

Coco loco is misleading. It's a mix of coco, peat and other. Should be treated like soil IMO. Soil PH.

"Potting Mix"

I've yet to see a successful grow using coco and dry amendments.
Maybe you'll be the first.

There is a thread in the organics section titled: Official Gaia Green Method and they use either soil or peat moss, or a combination of both for the dry amendments. Nobody uses just coco.

Good luck.

I have also used soil in place of coco. The results was a lot less, in terms of yeilds. But the quality was great. The area where I live I have to order my soil/ coco. The choices are coco loco, happy frog which are all expensive. Or potting soils from lowes, miracle grow. I can also used canna coco but it is over $50s a bag. What do you suggest with coco loco? I have some fox farm trio liquid nutes that I used when I 1st started but was afraid of burning them up but I am more experienced now. Usually my yeilds on average are 20 to 50 grams.

Why do you grow autos?
What light are you using?
I have no experience with CocoLoco so I can't answer your question.
Consider the coco bricks instead of the bag.......it's cheaper.

20 to 50 grams per plant? why not try some photos why do you grow autos for such a small amount? if coco loco is a potting mix i also amend with bat guano and earthworm add a little perlite you should be watering every other day and feeding at least twice a week i would say half a gallon per plant or until you see runoff

I grow autos because I just have one room to grow in. It was just easier with the same light schedule. I don't have a place where I can start plants to so it takes

This run I did start some photos 3 weeks into the autos grow. Hopefully when the autos are done I can flip the photos into flower. But I grow autos because I just have one room, 1 light schedule. But are you suggesting to use liquid nutes? I do add perlite I forgot to include that in the 1st post.

The lights are 1 electric sky 180, 1 spider farmer sf 2000, & 1 spider farmer sf 4000. Right now they are on for 24 hrs a day. I am running mostly Mephisto genetics that's what they suggest.

I have a mixed grow of GG autos. I am using coco in two of my plants and same amendments as you. Not sure when to water? Do I dry them out like I do in the FFOF soil in my other two pot?
