Watering Advice?

Both my plants look like this, how much does it look like I should be watering? I ask because I've noticed the bottom water leaves are drying up, but the rest of the plant looks fine. I know to at least wait until the first few inches of medium are dry, but I think the roots will grow out more if they are searching for nutrients sometimes. I just don't want to get to the point where I am underwatering


I will begin troubleshooting I suppose, but was wondering if anyone could save me a bit of trouble. Thanks

you'll know you're underwatering when they wilt, you are overwatering when they die.


those first little leaves are always going to be shed once the plant gets going.

get your self a moisture meter for under £10 that takes all the guess work out of when to water
