Tap water is just fine. If you really feel the need for better water, just get a carbon filter at Lowes.
Will remove most chemicals and most particulates. Only $30.

That or you can get an undersink RO unit for $150 which gives you 3 - 6 gallons of water per day depending on how much you need. For $50 - $100 more you can get RO units that do a lot of water per day.

those bitchs look great dont change anything. How many do you have in there give me some more infoon your grow.

by the way most grocery stores have a RO water dispenser out front by the soda machines for like 30-40 cents a gal get some 5g buckets and fill em up, check the phone book too i found a water store down the street from me where i fill 6 buckets at a time for 32cents a gal.

oh sorry. about the water. i use tap water. i leave it out for about 24 hours to let it settle as i heard this allows time for chlorine to break down. i was using an air pump to aerate the water for 10 mins before watering but i'm not sure if that does anything so i'm not very consistent with it. do you think your plants responded well when you changed to distilled water? did you notice a change? i'd be interested in trying it myself.

i usually use 64 gallons of water a feeding and normally what i do is let my water sit for a few days prior to watering or i ro my water. It does take along time to ro to 32 gallon trash cans though. From the tests i've done on my water by letting it sit i'd have to say its not a myth at all.

The problem with tap water differs from city to city and how old your pipes are. City water typically has a high PH and high ppms of junk... This leads to many problems including nutrient lockup and the problems you described.

Reverse Osmosis removes all unwanted dissolved solids, So you know and control how much you add back into your solution.

They have several RO units to choose from.
