Water smells funky

OK here's what i did... i used old 1 gallon jugs of lemonade iced tea to mix my nutes/mollasses with the water i left the lids open for 2 days now... but they smell like spoiled milk.... will this hurt plants ?

Once you mix the nutes you have to use them. Especially with molasses. If you let it sit out it will spoil. All kinds of nasty bacteria will be growing in the solution. Dump it out and start over.

ok flushed them down the drain, put fresh water in gallon jugs gonna let tops open to evaporate cholo and add nutes add needed thanks =)

molasses is prolly the one that did it, every time i mix up molasses and don't use all of it the next day its spoiled. if you leave it out till right b4 you water you might have a little longer life of your neuts.

no need for that. There isn't enough chlorine in tap water to harm the plants. In fact, it's beneficial to them. It is a micronutrient that plants actually need.

also, most municipalities now use chloramine which will not evaporate out of water no matter how long you leave it sit. And if it is normal chlorine, there isn't enough surface area exposed in a filled jug to evaporate any significant amount anyway even with the cap off.
