Water Pump for drainage?

Hi, For my system I'm using 5 gallon buckets for a DWC. I wanted a way to easily drain the buckets. I was going to buy a pump to do this. I'm looking at the Marineland Maxi-Jet Submersible Utility Pump - 1100 - http://www.bigalsonline.ca/StoreCatalog/ctl3664/cp18139/si3568973/cl1/marineland_maxijet_submersible_utility_pump__1100 . Is this a good pump for this purpose? The buckets are sitting on the floor so the pump does not need to be overly powerful and I was hoping to get one for less than $100. I wanted to buy the pump from this store because there is a location nearby, and they have a good selection at good prices #1 Big Al's Aquarium Supplies: Fish Tanks, Stands, Decorations, Filters, Lighting . I would have done a search on this but I keep getting database errors :S Thanks in advance for your input.

So nobody here uses a pump for drainage. How do you drain your system? It's got to be a lot of work without a pump :S

I use a pump, but its only rated for 120 GPH and I have a 20 gallon res. takes about 10 mins to pump it all out. Your pump will take approx 2 minutes to pump out all water. sounds like a good idea that should save you some time.
