water poroblems

hello im new at growing with hydro and my water seems to be leaving white residue on the hydroton and rockwool what can i do to solve this problem? any advise?????

Make sure the top of your pots are covered so no light can reach the nutrients in the reservoir. Check your reservoir you probably have mold on the sides of it. All holes on the top of the reservoir should be covered even if no pot is in it.

sounds like salt build up or undisolved nutes. check your ppm and PH. keep PH at least 6.0 or clost to it as possible and ppm areounf 500 - 700 veg and 1200 -1500 in flowering depending on the strain
