Water on leaves??

so my leaves got a little burn by my lights and started curling down, they were also stiff and paper like. so i moved the lights back and ive been sprinkiling water on my plants leaves. the plant is doing better but is this ok to do? will it do anything bad to my plants growth?

hey ace..

putting water on your leaves when the lights are on.... is generally a NO NO... it can magnify the light and burn the leaves...

oops, well i turned of 2 of my cfl's so the light is a little dimmer..i dnt see anymore burning but thanks 4 the info, i wont do it again then

dude, if it were growing outside and it rained on the plant would it hurt it? NO!!! the more natural things you do the better, water on leaves... YES!! cleans leaves, makes lookm ore appealing, just overall goodness. lol peace

I can't disagree with the outside comments...

what I find risky is trying to mimic mother nature....

i recommend doing what you do best.... and making rain for leaves is not something I recommend..

Plus, many many an outdoor crop has been ruined by rain... although not from burning.... LOL
