Yeah, it appears to happen at different times for different strains - just depends on what the plant is needing and different times I guess. I think the issue came up with my TD and I didn't even realize it... rookie mistake, as it was my first time growing with RO water.

Look At My Bushy Ladies.Their Growing Up So Fast.Hope Everyone Had A Safe And Merry Christmas.Ok Ive Had A Hard Time Of Keeping Ppm Levels Up So Ive Been Adding Nutes Slowly To Raise My Ppm.This Am Runts Ppm Was 665 And Ph Was 6.29 Leggs Ppm Was 905 And Ph Was 6.01.Lets See If My Ladies Like This???Im Having An Issue With The Tip Of My Leaves(Tips Are Turning Yellow And Curling Down) As Seen In Pic 6 Anyone Have Any Suggestions Whats Causing This???My D.I.Y. Carborn Filter Didnt Work Like I Wanted To So Im Off to Make Another One.Also I Finally Have My Cab Dialed In So Ive Been Lowering My Light.Currently Im 8 Inches Above My Plants.Peace And Hair Grease.

After 24 Hrs Leggs Ppm Is 842 Ph Is 6.14 Res 70 Cab Was 80 At Canopy Level Hum 58.Runts Ppm Was 618 Ph 6.32 And Res 70.I Added 4 Cups R/O Water To Runt And 6 To Leggs.Ive Noticed That My R/o Water Is Lowering My Ppm So Im Going To Let Is Drift Back 200 Ppm Then Bring It Back Up.I Notice Some Alge Starting To Form In My Drain Tube So I Check My Roots And They Are Lilly White.Im Adding 2 tsp Of 3% H202 To Clear This Up Dont Want This Shit Getting In My Res.Ive Lowered My Light To 4 Inches Above My Ladies Does Anybody Think This Is To Low????? i think your plants look super healthy. they are getting so tall. the yellowing on the tips is prob nitrogen deficency.
What i have learned about light height to the plants is dependant on strain . some strains will get leaf burn and bleaching more than others if the light is too close.
BUT if you want to stop the stretch your light needs to be close. I think 4 inches is way way too close. i would back it off .
Let me go find my light distance chart for you.. and i will post it for you.
also when you think about your light height do you look at how the light is projecting in the entire tent.. is it hitting all of your plants?

Runt's Add Back Solution Is Ppm 850 Ph 5.11 And Leggs Is Ppm 975 Ph 4.38
R/O Water Is Ppm 0 Ph 5.33

Hey Dawg - it sounds to me like she's just eating alot as well as drinking. Keep in mind that if it drinks more than it eats, and you test the rez when the water-level is low, the ppm may be higher.

i pretty much just measure my nutes before my first add back if they have dropped i can go higher and if the rise i need to go lower etc. anything after u add r/o water wont give u a true figure because u have diluted the res.

i also follow scottyballs rule of only adding back r/o water and u measure your add backs so once u have added back enough to fully fill the res its time for a res change and u can make any necessary adjustments.

thats just how i interpreted scottyballs journal it works for me, i hope it helps

Thanks For Looking In Daytz.I Also Thought That The Lower Water Level Was Causing My Ppm's To Rise.I Will Continue To Monitor My Ppm's.Peace And Hair Grease.

Me To Forget.But My Ppm's Were Droping Like Mad Before My First Add Back Gallon Was Used And I Was Getting Cal/Mag Along With Nitrogen Defenciy,Do You Experince Any Of These Problems In Your Grow's.Peace And hair Grease.
