am i the only 1 who does water cure :(
you aren't alone there man, you rarely hear of people doing water cures because it is said that the bud loses bag appeal/aroma......personally (just me...I wouldn't water cure any longer than a week (....it all depends how big the bud(s) are)

just pointing out what I observed, will be doing an expierement (w/cure) when I grow.

I water cured about 1.3 gram bud from my harvest just to see, and it was much more smooth than my other stuff that was air cured but it didnt really smell or taste much, and it looked like sea weed.. but it did get me stoned off 1/4 of a joint.

oh really???

i water cure most of my herb because it serves the same purpose as air curing except it takes all the good flavor and good looks away. do not do this if you are going to sell your herb. water curing removes more weight for the same amount compared to air cure. when you water cure you have the same thc content with less overall weight so a higher thc concentration. the water really doesn't change color too much because the chlorophyll evaporates out of the water and that is what gives the plant its green color. that is why when you water cure (through osmosis) the water pushes out more of the elements composing the color and flavor as well as the remaining npk and trace elements.

. . . .actually i think water cure keeps the cut plant alive like when you put a cut flower in a vase. i have noticed that i put milky (trichrome) herb in the water cure and pulled out 7 days later amber (trichrome) herb. . .mystery.
