Water Cure Question

I am new to the whole idea of water curing. I have decided to try it out on my latest harvest, and I have one simple question... Is it ok to re-use the water out of my curing jars to water my remaining plants that have about 1 to 2 weeks left. I am not using ant nutes any more on anything.

I'm using water curing as a quicker alternative to a regular slow cure. I've never done it before, and I wanted to compare the results of the two methods side by side.

My first post so Hi ya

just tried the water cure by putting about an ounce of green (not dried out) head in a jar, filled the jar with water till it covered the weed, changed the water every day for a week then hung it to dry which took only about 24 hours, amazing.

First thing I noticed when I had a smoke was how mild the smoke was, no harshness on the throat at all, very noticeable mildness also the joint was hard to keep alight as though something of the burnable material was not there so I found it better in a bong.
Also very noticeable was the strenght of the stone so in this regard water curing is worth it.
The down side is you lose a lot of weight in comparison to just hang drying, how much I'm not sure of because I did not do a comparison test, plan to do that next time.

Anyway, keep cool guys.

dont water cure its for noobs and makes yo shit bunk
Yo, don't listen to people who don't have a good grasp of diction or syntax.

Also, evidence points to water curing making bud more potent (by reducing plant matter, without reducing THC levels), rather than making it 'bunk'.

i guess, only if you kooks burn your plant matter or cook it to extract your thc, but for people of the 21st century who went out and spent a little extra money on bettering our lives and use a VAPORIZOR, i would say that water curing your shit for that is extreemly, how did i put it? BUNK! so dont be a kook and tell this kid to drench his shit in water, hopefully he wants to savor the flavor of that vapor

I am definitly not a kook or a kid. I love my herb in all of it's forms. I have had many successful grows in which i have always cured my flowers the slow way. I currently am water curing HALF a plant, that's all. Just so that I can compare the two finished products side by side. Also so that I can start smoking some of it a little sooner. I LOVE MY HERB. I LOVE MY VAPORIZER. I LOVE MY BONG. I LOVE MY PIPES. I LOVE BLUNTS AND JOINTS. I'D EVEN LOVE TO SPARK AN APPLE, AN AVOCADO, A POTATO, A POP-CAN OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT I CAN PUT GREENS IN AND BURN.

Save the negative vibe Ahriman. There is no need for that.

I only grow for myself and not to sell so the reduction of weight in the finished product isn't an issue for me. I appreciated the increase in strenght of the stone and the smoother the smoke was to inhale so I wouldn't discount this method.
As for the vaporisor, I old and not into these new fangle dangle things, me, I like best a joint or a bong, on a rare occasion I'll eat it. Maybe you can educate an old foggie like me on the vaporisor. I remember when it first came on the scene with big promotional fanfare only to be discredited almost immediately by mainstreme potheads but maybe they got it wrong,.
I know you young guys aren't stupid so please tell me of your experience although I suppose this isn't the appropriate thread.

Anyway, enjoy
My motto... 'dont worry, be happy'

30-35 % ! I did weigh mine before and after the last time. I only water cured because my weed got mold on it from re hydrating the bud with apple slices and then leaving them too long. I had used a sulphite fungicide used for sterilizing wine juice on it first to kill the mold. Since the weed was already wet I figured I may as well water cure. I had already weighed all the weed for my own curiousity before. The mold also had partially composted the weed down a bit.
I used warm water the first day and it went dark as tea in a matter of hours. The susequent days changes were very light so I stopped. I used a salad spinner to extract as much water as I could then dried them on a old window screen in a warm room.
As a side note I rather enjoyed the taste of one of the strains with mold on it BEFORE I cured it, it tasted like coconut (didn't before it was moldy).
For the adventurous OPEN MINDED people I recomend freezing undried weed first, this will rupture the cell walls so the chlorophyll is extracted faster.

side by side my water cured buds look darker, not much smell, same amount of crystals, they don't taste very good.

my other buds from the same plant are fairly dry, not quite cured completely.. taste way better though, look way better.

the stone is about the same.

I won't water cure again.

yeah i just watercured, and if your growing to get those nugs we all love when you open the bag and there fluffy soft and shiny from crystals and just one 8th will smell up your whole house, dont water cure it. now the high is good so im going to probably water cure 1/4 of my shit every harvest just to have sooner. id rather spend that time high as fuck, than wait the whole time for better taste. nt good for selling tho
