Water at first?

So I talked to some guys at my local hydroponic store and they told me I could setup my bubbler bucket with ph adjusted water until my first set of true leaves appeared.

Anyone know if this would be a good idea to do until I can get my nutrients tomorrow?

My plants are currently in rockwool/hydroton at the moment with about an inch of stem showing.

Thanks

They are right. Plants do not start feeding themselves untill they can harness the energy of photosynthsis. A seed has all the food it needs until leafs form. I almost always grow from seed. Clones should have rooting gel once and b-1 vitiman.

So I will be set putting just straight water 1" above the bottom of the netcup?
so your growing hydro. Sounds like flood and drain. THe water level should go to 1/4 inch below the top of the actual net part. Though I use a airstone in my hydro chamber, the high water level serves two purposes. One to flood the root ball in the cup and when it drains in pulls fresh air into all of your roots.
