Was a good show, rare for CNN. The plants being grown for the 5 year old were tagged as 'Charlotte's Web' by the grower, but they did not identify what strain was used to produce it. Did you notice how purple the stems were in the close up? Overall a good mainstream plug for MMJ, balanced with a warning about young people smoking too much, becoming obsessed with it and being stupid. Cool that the doctor rode in the car with a patient and commented that it is difficult to set a limit for legal driving when there are patients who can drive just fine with a high THC content in their systems. There were a few patients with remarkable stories about the healing effects, I liked the oldster at the nursing home in Israel, who toked up a bowl during the interview to make his hands stop shaking. Those brothers growing in the mountains sure seem to be doing it right, much respect and admiration for them, they probably saved 5 year old Charlotte's life with their plants that made her terrible seizures cease.

Bump for the great question, what strain was used to help Charlotte?

I have been searching and searching for the lineage of that strain and can't find it for the life of me.
Hopefully someone with some inside knowledge can pop in and enlighten us.

Please someone answer the burning question as we are getting hit up for a patient who has seizures. I doubt the Stanley brother's will give up a trade secret. It is interesting thought, the client I am dealing with ate 1/2 a brownie bite we made with coconut oil extraction with Black Cherry Soda butter buds and she has stopped having seizures at night. Her daytime seizures have reduced, she was having 15 a day. Excuse my uneducated question, would RSO work for this patient's seizure?

I do not see where criticism of the brothers is called for. Everyone steals strains and ideas from each other, that is how we make progress. The alternative is trademarking and patenting every strain and developing the genetics so the plants cannot be crossed with other strains or reproduced in seed form. Would be tragic if the mmj industry went the way of monsanto and the gmo style of food crop production that inhibits the development of new products. I applaud the brothers and admire their work. Wish I knew what the cross was, hopefully that info will become available as a result of their going public on Dr. Gupta's TV show.

Stanly bros have no trade secret, they have stole a high CBD genetic, and creat extract, even BHO of R4 will help your patent.. What state you in?
I am in Colorado and am not comfortable giving a patient who is having seizures an extract using BHO. I have been told it burns off, but you cannot tell me 100% that it won't affect a patient with seizures. Just too much of a health risk for the patient, IMO. there are other medical issues involved as well. I am working on obtaining a high CBD strain.

I agree with 420 on this. I think regardless of the background rumors, what they have done went National, that is huge. They are helping forward progress towards normalization. That is what is important here, the more stories like that come to the forefront, the better off for the movement. You have at least acknowledge that, the other stuff is just background noise.

R4 is available in seed packs which they sell at the cost of production, http://www.greenwerkz.com/index.php/r4-cbd-program/the-program/

Every adult over 21 will be allowed to purchase them once rec becomes legal in January.

Greenwerkz are the CBD pioneers.

That’s good to hear , just wondering about something , I seen where 420circuit said he had two R4 seeds and they failed to germinate , does Greenwerkz have a policy to replace seeds that are duds ?

Personally im waiting for Z7 from 303.... Greenwerks left a bad taste in my mouth after promoting an "open source strain, with free seeds and wide dissemination and promised 1/8ths of flower" for cheap as hell. Not only did none of this even come close to happening but the exact opposite did... high prices and no stock even now.

Now Im sure the demand is insane and it opened a can of worms for them im just not a big fan of how things were handled.
Edit: No one over here invented or bred shit the 15%+ cbd 1%thc came from the isreali project that has been going on for over a decade.... it makes me lul these guys act like they just happened to luckily breed it one day.
