well I guess he finally checked his mail (couldn't leave a phone message for the last 2 weeks) & is supposed to bring all my nutes back this coming Sunday - I hope to hell he really does, that was utterly devastating on my budget - said something about me getting some of the harvest of the plants I agreed to split but I'll just be glad to get my nutes back & that's one chicken I definitely won't count on - I don't think the product will end up anything like what I would turn out, either but oh well

The only reason I asked about the report was several years ago, some people sued the Snohomish County cops & they had to pay for all the plants, lights, nutes, you name they messed up for some patients who were within their legal limit - and those folks won hands down!

That was one of the most positive things I've ever seen! :)

Annieji you seem like a nice, wholesome person . I’d suggest you go over to NWGREENTHUMB . You will have a better chance of finding some compassion from the medical patients on that site. Seems like you are having a conversation with yourself here...not too many of us on this forum anymore, it has gone downhill and sometimes is taken over and hacked with viruses ...just sayin’ ...

beware those who suddenly stop contacting you, after they know where you are.,..i am awaiting some pc cameras comming for my place, to add to my rottwieller, for insurance. they dont cost that much, and are motion activated. i was smart enought to get a plate number, just in case. but the cameras will pick this up first!

Thanks so much, Sensei!

I've been trying to be more active there & hopefully get to know some folks in my area, as well (don't really know anyone in the area I live, Mount Vernon/Burlington area)
Pretty sure I've found a reputable & reasonable supplier there, thank God for that!
I secretly 'tinker' but it's nothing like when I was able to grow for myself (last 3 years til I moved here - stupidly didn't realize the seriousness of federally subsidized housing but really needed to leave where I lived ((landlord got a heroin junkie roomie - thought he could help save her from herself, he's learning the hard way, nice fella but I'm glad I'm not there anymore(!)

I couldn't afford anything else w/o a room mate - and that's a whole 'nother problem!
(would be so great to have one who's also a patient but not into growing so I could, I love it more than I can say & am pretty darn good at it! :D)

Yes, my antivirus is going nuts here - keeps wanting to remove trojan infections - that's sad, I've met a couple really great folks here!

AND! Yep finally got my nutes back, I'm happily surprised - the plants I had that I freaked out & gave over are large, I'm told, but infested with thrips (oh lordy that drives me nutters, they were sooo gorgeous/healthy/thriving - thank God I took one clone from the lone Mad Shack girl I had (2 freebee fem seeds at Sannie's for buying 5 fem Mad Scientist seeds)

There are many good people in the medical cannabis community but there's also some real pieces of work who see perfect opportunity to rip off or screw someone over (sadly)

aw hell, seems like these days I'm the ONLY one I have many conversations with, Sensei! :)
As long as the guys in the white coats with the funny jacket with the long long sleeves don't notice, I guess I'm ok hahahaha :)

Thank you for your kindness & excellent suggestion, Sensei, very much appreciated :)

About the only reason I ever come over here anymore is to look at a longdistance friend's grow :)
Beautiful, reminds me of my old one :)
Ah, someday.........! ;)

I apologize but I highly doubt it RIU is hosting any malicious scripts. If need be backup your OS and burn a rescue disk from kasperksy or avira boot to it and it'll clean ya out just fine of whatever got in. Second firewall and a/v with heuristic's is a must these days. Third the Web Of Trust plug in (google it) is GREAT imop very handy. And if ya wanna go the extra mile run peer block if you are on windows or little snitch on mac. (although mac's rarely get viruses) Oh and malwarebytes in safe mode doesn't hurt to add to the mix if ya can.

Just me speaking up yet again :)

I got lucky because Nick from Skagit Valley Green Cross IS a good guy!
He's a WAY! too! busy! guy, too, but a good guy, nontheless!
It seems we've had a series of misses & poor communiciation, but also myself with little experience with others in this area - when I started out 7 years ago (early next month,) I was driving to The Wormhole Church in South Seattle 1 or 2 a month from the Stanwood area fir the first 3 or 4 years or so - when they went to night hours, I finally went to my recommendation provider's forum site for this state & found a provider, who also turned out to be a really great teacher!
So that was it for my experience because for over the next 3 years, I provided myself with my own medicine, & tending to my plants was so incredibly therapeutic in & of itself......!

I guess there's some lessons here, when trying to work with anyone, try not to meet them when you're in a rush because misunderstandings easily happen!

I hope I can live somewhere I can grow again before I up & die, I ended up in subsidized housing (federal) where it turns out you're not allowed to possess, much less consume or grow any cannabis medicine :(

I hate the Federal Government

But Nick of Skagit Valley Green Cross is good people! ;)
Just way tooo busy, slow down a bit, dude!!! :)

I don't wanna be a dick.. But I'm really not sorry for you. I know you want people too, but, growing pot is like playing life, cutthroat style. And sometimes... Bad things happen, if you think everrest is bad.. Come live in the tac man haha and you better thank god you weren't in that house. If I got jacked for weed, I'd be damn glad that I wasn't in the robbery, cuz I know I'd be dead man... This is another reason why I don't post pics, I'll say a little something about my grow, or person life, but I'm never like giving directions to my place drawing a map on where I keep my crop. 850$ is not that much when you have a job, you'd get that right back, probably already have... I want you to picture yourself in the same position, except, you don't have food, or a place to live, no job, no car, no money.. Oh! And you have a kid at 17... Then tell me your story sir....

Nobody from RIU robbed you. That's crazy talk. It's somebody you know in real life. Who did you tell you were growing?
My thoughts as well. I doubt it was someone from the internet but more likely an acquaintance or someone who followed you from a hydro store or figured out you were growing.

Amen GP!

Nobody @#$%! with Tacoma, which is basically a large military town with many folks that own many things that go bang!...just sayin
Keep thumping your chest. I am sure it will scare all of us off and make us realize how badass people from Tacoma are. It is not like they don't have guns in Chicago where I grew up or in Los Angeles or New York or Little Creek Virginia or everywhere else.

Hi again, guys!

Just wanted to reinterate that Nick from Skagit Valley Green Cross IS! good people!

As is the case when people who don't know each other meet, I was very cautious - I had a few friends who don't live near me really give me the "paranoid" talk, only so that I didn't get ripped off - which is likely why I myself felt so paranoid, especially after having the same provider for ages (who just got to be WAY too expensive, no thanks , can't afford $300 oz, which is ridiculous, anyways)

But please take note EVERYONE! that my story had a happy ending & in the end, HE CAME THROUGH FOR ME!!!

I am glad to have met Nick from Skagit Valley Green Cross - he's a very busy fella, always got something going :)
But he's still able to work FT & is a BIG! family person (which I LIKE A LOT!) & he DID NOT FAIL ME, NOR RIP ME OFF!!!

It is! a good idea to be careful when dealing with folks you don't know at all (at least, at first)
I definitely can understand that, I've known some folks that have gotten the short end of the stick - I know the folks who worried for me meant well but it also gave me a false perspective, as well - and because they actually give a crap about me, I know it was meant to help me

But in this case, things turned out great, I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to ANYONE!

Hoping everyone's having a good weekend! :)

Annieji :)

Use "InPrivate" Browsing for more online Security. Also, you know what they say; "DON'T TELL FUCKING ANYONE ABOUT YOUR GROW!!!" Most of us have, but make sure you trust the people you confide in. You can also secure your grow through other "Means", and make sure you keep that to yourself, if possible. Trust me, you wouldn't want to try and steal my plants...
