Its been 5 years since the invasion of Iraq.. History has a way of repeating its self.. AK's against M16's all over again.. The primaries are very close, is :peace: an option.. Price of gas is on the rise as we rape other countries for oil.. Is the American Govt the mother that gave birth this demon in the middle east? Opinions comments? :blsmoke:

i realize that blaming america for all the world's woes is the cause du jour, but simple human greed exacerbated far beyond its normal bounds by the governments and religious institutions of the world are to blame for the mess that part of the world is in today. power crazed madmen on all sides have whipped up this shit storm, it began long long ago and the end is nowhere in sight.

We had to watch that in my Peace and Conflict class, it's an amazing movie and really opens your eyes to the true reasons behind war. War creates millions of dollars for major industries. Why would the world ever get rid of war when it's providing them with huge profits?

There are many other reasons people fight I could run off the list of theories on aggression but they all provide such different takes on where our aggression comes from and I really can't be fucked -_-

but it's an interesting topic to research and although there are many ways to end wars I don't believe it's ever going to happen. It's difficult to get a nation that's been stuck in this system for so long to up and change, especially when some would argue aggression is bread into us... we need war.

I'd say war on a fundamental level was good for the stability of the race in question (in a survival of the fittest kinda way).
Anything that moves can instigate wars (i'm sure two types of ameoba could contest for space, two opposing groups of such could be compared to a war[however, the bigger the living matter the better]). Given that we, the human race have utilised our intelligence to such a level giving birth to technology which often surpasses our own individual/collective ability. It still remains a healthy step in our evolution to have wars.
I have never been in a war, nor would i want to be in one. I would presumably feel bad for a war-victim. Whilst the actions for war may be immoral and unjustified the act of war still remains positive.
