want to switch to flower

i have a stealth hydro system and wanted to know whats the best way to change to flower do u go 24 hours of dark before go 12/12 or just clean it out add new water and when do i start with the bloom nutrients thanks if u can help

i usually just straight up just change it to 12/12. Going any longer than that is unnatural to the plant. Do we ever have a 24hr dark period a 24 hr eclipse? From my experience going any longer than 12 hours can increase the chances of having a hermied batch of plants. I gave my plants 36 hours of light and the whole crop had some seeds. That was a recomendationn frrom a person at a hydroponic store..go figure.

As far as nutes go by the feed chart on the back of the bottle. usually you wanna mix your grow and bloom @ the same amounts.ie 7.5 ml grow and 7.5ml bloom. This is called the transition phase which normally is fed by the week. It will prevent your plants from having a nitrogen def as you are switching the main supply of base from nitrogen to phosphorous.So yes clean out your water and make a new solution with half grow half bloom after a week clean it out again and make it 100% bloom.
