Want to learn how to make BHO & extracts any How-to to classes in Michigan?

Hi everyone, I'm starting to chop my greenhouse grow down and thought this year I'd make hash. I bought a new washing machine, but after talking with my patients, they would rather have BHO than bubble hash. I've been reading online tutorials, but I'm nervous to try this without someone that really knows what they are doing. I'd just like to learn from the best and be able to produce safe product for my patients. I don't ever go to dispensaries because I'm a caregiver and haven't needed to, so I don't really know any other growers on a scale like mine. I have a lot of trim at this time of the year, what is the best way to extract large quantities? (i'm legal, of course, and stay under my limit for 5 patients, but plants are large) Does anyone know of a collective, group, dispensary that just has growers and caregivers that get together and help each other? I'm in Mid Michigan (tri cities) area, but I'm willing to drive anywhere. I'd appreciate any advice you guys may have.

you probably wont be legal once you start making bho. its up there with meth production even here in california.
Theres about a million threads on how to make it. Meeting up to make some meth based on a forum seems like a horrible idea imho.

didn't you hear... shit isn't legal due to court rulings. all concentrates aren't kosher until the ruling is overturned.
ps- give them bubble, less flammable and it's the health food of weed. brand new full size dedicated hash washer... nice.

I've got that issue, shit looks amazing! The only thing that sucks is the price tag on the grape spirits. I plan to follow the same recipe but with 99% iso instead.

Skunkpharm grey wolf (FadeDawg) give classes in Oregon, otherwise checkout the skunkpharm website. They've be doing it proper and building on their skills. Plenty of golden info there, to the fullest. Safety first; then teamwork. Seriously be careful though, I'd start there and work up. You're no good to anyone if you go kaBloom!

99% ISO available at most Ace hardwares, 26.99 a gallon. I like quick washing method with buds, not popcorn or leaves.

Granger Industrial Supply also carries 99%.

Have you actually tried what budderking produces? I've only heard one person out of 10 say that it was worth it and that one person didn't make hash so...

Bubble hash is the way to go imo. I would say don't follow the trend. BHO is cool but you can receive just as many medicinal benefits from bubble that you can from bho. You can have just as much flavor in both and they can look rather similar if you know what to do.

I'm not sure why your patients are asking for bho but if they just want to dab you can easily make bubble hash that you can dab without really knowing what you're doing.

That grape shit is crazy expensive. I was looking for another supplier NOT endorsed by high times, bet they would be a bit cheaper.

I gotta agree and just say go bubble hash. While I've smoked good bho nothing beats a good bubble hash. It's a labor of love but between avoiding explosive gases and dealing with contaminates. Plus I have done concerns with how people are making it.
ISO is another way to go but again dealing with volatile gases.
Full melt bubble > bho

I've got some killer bho at the moment. Had a go for my patients. But, dry ice hash is stupid easy safe and healthy. My buddy does this for his patients and they couldn't be happier. No chems no leftover mystery oil no worrying about blowing your shit up. don't get me wrong it is killer but dry ice is the way to go. Second choice would be bubble. More of a pia and messier but still...

Im gunna run Dry ice on my next batch bungle. How long you leave the material mixed in with the ice for? and what microns did you run?

depends. if you r looking for full melt straight blonde shit add the dry ice(broken chunks) to a 70-73 micron bag and shake it all for about aminute or 2. wait a min and shake for another minute or 2 after cleaning the first run and there may be a slight difference in quality(bit lower). you can do that a few times for different grades. if you are looking more medicinal meds for certain health issues you actually want some plant matter in there so go with a 160 micron or so. but for full melt 70 micron or so will do the trick
