Walmart doesn't give the Lumen or K on their bulbs!

I was told over and over that Walmart was the best place for CFLs but when I went none of them had the lumens or K on them

Can someone tell me what bulbs are the 6500K, 2700 Lumens?

From what I understand from what ive read here, the "soft white" is the lower K ( flower ) and the "daylight" are the higher K ( veg ) bulbs.. But beyond that, I have no idea.

The "daylight" bulbs are 6500k. Unfortunately, the highest wattage daylight bulb on that list is 26 watt, which are only 1600 lumens. They will work, but you will need more of them.

Bloom and flower are the same thing.

Warm white are the 2700k ones, and are recommended for flowering.
Daylight are the 6500k ones, and are recommended for vegging.

the ones at home fepot have the numbers on them

some of the walmarts dont carry the daylight 6500k ones, mine just this week started carrying them... right after i got way ripped off for some on ebay... i payd 30$ for 2 "100w" cfl daylights and got 24ws... 100 equivent... but shit happens.

ouch, is that false advertising or what?

fuck cfl bulbs, go big or go home mayne. especially with the flowering...the best part.

CFLs are great for veg. the cri is better then halides the heat is not an issue and you can have many smaller ones instead of one large one and that works better as well

But those are very low lumen

sure but you can place them very close to it evens out i believe

lowes or depot has some high watts ones too.. I seen a 4 pack of daylight 42 ( actual ) watts CFls for cheap ( like 10.00 I think.. ) when I was getting a replacement sink faucet head the other day.

i bought the bigger cfls they are the globe cfls they are only 45 watts and do 3000 lumens but u need a few of them thats why i got 2 mhs on the way
