No clue on the moon. But in my case I had a tad bit of a light leak and i found balls on my plant but I picked them off quick. From then on during night cycle I Pin up a blanket around the door crack.

light leaks can cause hermies but its certainly not gauranteed, sumtimes they just hermie because of unstable genetics. feminized seeds frequently partially hermie towards the end of the flowering cycle as well. if your really worried buy a product called Dutch Master Reverse. it can be used as either preventative or cure, i always have a bottle of it laying around when i grow.

Had hermies last go due to light leaks. Only a couple of small plants with cfls but pulled well over 200 seeds out of em. I saved em and might use em down the road but they'll never be my first choice. Did get some decent smoke and a lot of butter out of the whole ordeal. Live and learn I guess.

naw dude. hermies have a lot to do with genetics also. i've had plants from good breeders handle quite a stupid amount of light stress without intersexing, while some will banana immediately. light is just a very easy trigger for intersex prone plants.
