i use foxfarm nutes, starting at 1/4 strength on week 3

from there watch your plants and see how they react, then raising to full strength...every other watering.

no not yet, but i did cut two tops to practice drying..

trichs are still more clear/cloudy and buds have new growth...crazy

ok..so i cut then trimmed the leaves and placed in a shoe box with many 1/8" holes poked through the top and bottom for ventilation. then placed in the top of the grow room, very little, little light may get in...idk, thinking the humidity was perfect 45-50% and the exhaust fan would help with the curing. the only thing is the temps 82-85 lights on, 72-75 lights off. after 3-4 days when bending the tops the stem snapped and off to the containers...how long until the buds loose that fresh cut grass smell...lol...stinks in a bad way !! when will they smell right.

be nice this is all new to me....drying and curing

i made it this far, i dont want to screw this up........thanks all

i hang mine in a closet, i open the door a couple times a day for fresh air. you can also use a screen tray. some people build dry boxes with carbon fans and the works.

i hang mine in the closet...... then into canning jars after the outer of the bud is crispy but the stems bend but dont snap. sweat in the jars, opening a couple times a day. leaving the lid off if they get to moist for a while. after two or three weeks you will have nicely cured buds. they really do change through this whole process.

mine never lasts that long. 7 days air dry, hell I'm smoking it after 5 days.

Great going. Are you going to consider getting any more light? You know, it's not about how many plants you have, unless you're growing SOG.

You've done great for your first time. A successful harvest is always good news.

more light is on the way..

and for the end of harvest, should i give them a couple days of no light and cool temps in the room ?

and taking the fan leaves o.k. ? thanks for the help skunk !!!

You talking while the bud is still on the plant and turning off the lights for the final 48 hours? No, don't do that. If anything you'd be better off giving them 48 hours of light. More light equals more bud. I usually leave my lights on for 24 hours the day before harvest.

Personally I never remove healthy fan leaves. These are the plant's main recepticle for gathering light. The last few days i will remove the smaller fan leaves, but the big ones stay until I chop the plant down.
