Just received the seeds tonight... BC Bud (I guess) from BCseedking. Put 4 seeds in water around 7pm.

Got back from my local grow shop, bought some new soil, a few pucks and some mylar.

My last grow I didn't use any mylar, this time I want to do it right. I was happy with my results last time, but I'm sure I can do better this time!

CFL grow... examining possibility of getting new dedicated cfl's and possibly swapping when it's time to flower. My grow box can fit 3 CFLs.

I am so excited, but I must be patient!

Plan is to grow 4 at a time until I can take one clone off of each and move those clones to flowering cycle for sexing ASAP. I really only want 1 plant, so I will sacrifice the others. My odds are pretty good if I start with 4.

Put the seeds in the water and moving to the cupboard across the fridge. I know i should be using distilled... but...

switched over to the paper towel method... 3 of the 4 seeds i attempted have germinated. moved all seeds over to the "pucks" with delicate precision. Put them in a plastic nursing container in a warm room. Will start them on 16 hours of daylight tommorow.

OK.. update - of the four seeds, only 3 germinated. After I moved them to the pucks, only 2 survived. Odds are 50/50 that one of them is a female, so we'll go with that for now!

I reassembled the grow box and moved the pucks into pots. They are about 2 inches tall now and showing inch long spikey-leafs. The original leaves are rounded, and still growing. One is outdoing the other by a small margin. I've been watering small amounts every day, but this week I will give them a thorough soaking. Enough waiting, I kind of want to smoke them now!

Pictures to follow soon.

Update.

They are getting very full, but not too high. I bumped them up closer to the CFL's by another plastic box (not illustrated in photos). I am HOPING that one is a female. There is definately a more dominant plant here, and to make things worse, the weaker one had a watering accident today. It's stalk is not as thick, and therefore the force of the water shifted it from upright to sideways! I carefully rebuild the soil up around the stem and watered to cement it in place.

I don't think any damage was done.

Can someone tell me if these plants should move more upwards then they are? I think placing closer to the cfl's above will be better for them (before was about 2 feet, now is about 1 foot).

Also, should I begin to "stake" the smaller plant to assist it with carrying the weight? When should I nute?

I hope someone reading this will comment.

I just released a threat asking for input as to the height of my plants. 30 days and only about 3-4 inches tall.

Please visit that article and vote there.

Thanks!

Update - it's been a while since I have made an update, but today is the day to bring you up to speed.

March 1st, moved to bigger pots
March 20th, cloned one from each plant. They are still living... barely. My hopes are high.
March 22nd, changed to 12/12... let's get some bud going.

March 27,
I've always been suspicious about the two plants and their gender. I'm almost sure that one is male and one is female. I think i got some balls growing on plant number 1 (the bigger plant). The smaller one SMELLS different too.

I'm going to post some pics to let people decide. It's been almost a week since transition to flower cycle.

OK. sorry for the long time between update... it's amazing how patience makes you do things other than internet.

April 10 ... move the plant down to the "bottom rung". I have been watering every other day, with every other one a fertiliser.

April 13 ... see attached photos. I never saw such flowers on my previous plant. I am totally impressed.
