W.t.f. !!!

I am half way through harvesting my plants and it look like there are VERY tiny seeds in a lot of the smaller buds. They are no bigger than the ball on the tip of a ball point pen. I have noticed a couple in some of the large buds but nowhere near the amount that are in the smaller buds?

I KNOW these were not there on the plants harvested before yesterday? Can anyone tell me what is going on?

I will try and post a pic but they are so small I doubt they will show in the picture.

....you may have a hermie in the mist of your ladies. Have you checked for open pollen sacs?

I noticed the same thing in my last grow. I didn't find any seeds when it came to harvesting though.

...I suppose there's a couple other options, light leaks? ...could even be false seed pods.

If it is false seed pods what does it do to the plant?

Does it lower potency?

no. no lower potency.

If it is false seed pods can anyone tell me why they happen?

Today is thursday, I know for a fact that none of the plants I harvested on Tuesday night had these on them. If it is stress induced by light could these things pop up in as few as 36 hours?

I guess I am just trying to figure out why this happened and if I can prevent it in the future!

...as you mention, light leaks are said to cause false seed pods. However, I have grown alot of fem seeds, and if your growing a fem seed, it is possible that the strain is unstable.

...I had a strain that would have clusters of mini calexes (Flying Dutchman's, Power Skunk)...strange texture. All and all, your probably not going to know if those are viable seeds, false, or the just the texture of the strain until harvest. I wish you the best, no need to stress now bro...let'em grow and smoke'em.

I am in the middle of harvesting right now. Should I just haul ass through the last few plants before the seeds or whatever they are get any bigger?

Also, If they are real seeds and they only started a couple day ago would that affect the potency?

Ok first if you found them during harvest then there is nothing to worry about. If you have the bud in hand and its no longer attached to the plant there is no more growth happening. So what ever these are will not further impact the plant. There is nothing to make them grow if this is a harvested bud. Now if you still have some plants that are GROWING and that trait is showing then i might be concerned and watch them. If they get bigger then clip them but light leaks WILL cause hermi's my friend.
