Vortex x Jillybean cross?

So my thoughts are, Vortex with a slightly higher yield, and some more candy. Anyone think it would be a bad cross for some reason?

If you like both of them enough to think of it.....may as well try it and let us know how the childrens come out and document it right here for the rest of us to see....... I'd sub and watch.

Edit: I have to venture a guess and say that the offspring will be some of the most stretching-est plants ever grown.

I have slung some Vortex pollen onto a couple diff pheno's of Jilly and have plans on trying them out sometime down the line. Probably next outdoor run. I figured what the hell, couldn't hurt to try.. :) They make some nice, fat, pretty beans I do know that..

I'm going to do it...

I have only got 5 vortex and 5 jilly seeds...I'm going to select the best male and 2 female from each strain to muck around with.

Only have clones of both going.. no males :( if i had some pollen we'd be good. I have been thinking about it though.

It's definitely not any sort of breeding project. I would rather give away seeds I make myself than giving away the feminized freebies I get when buying other seeds.

I may grow out 10 seeds and see what I get. I think once having grown out vortex and jilly clones a few times and getting to know the plants and the high I could then maybe grow out 50 seedlings and hand pick the 5 pheno's I want and breed with them...

Sounds good. I have an awesome jillybean pheno already, and just sprouted 4 Vortex. Think if i get a male, i may clone him and just hold onto him for a while...

Hi Oriah...

Hopefully you get 2 males to choose from. Clone both and watch their growth and traits...
