Volcano vs. Extreme Q

Was thinking the only Vap to get was a Volcano but I've been reading many more good reviews on the Extreme Q. It also happens to be 1/3 the price of the Volcano. I'm conflicted now. Looking for reviews and opinions. What's yer vape?

I use the Super Vapezilla. I have had it for several years and it gets used several times a day. It was a great investment.

Can't go wrong with a Volcano (classic solid valve is the best). That said, there are cheaper vapes if you are low on cash (although the cheaper the less durable, and volcanos are tough)

i have an extreme q, and i've nothing but good things to say about it.. yah, you will always have the people who say that the volcano is the best, just like you have those who say roor is the best, myself included.. but i simply couldn't bring myself to spend six bills on a vape, so i went with the extreme q.. and i couldn't be happier.. i've never smoked from a volcano, but i can't possibly see what could justify its costing around 3 x's what i paid for my extreme q.. just my humble opinion though..

I have owned an Extreme Q for a little under 1 month now and absolutely love it. I took it to my buddies house for the post-harvest celebration and he said it's just as good as the Volcano if not better. What I like about the Q is that it offers the whip (good for 1-2 people) and balloon (good for 3 + people). It has a remote which is much easier to use than the actual buttons on the unit so that's definitely a plus. I do wish that the balloon system for the Q had a valve, but it's not that big of a deal to have to cover up the mouth piece with a finger. I do suggest you visit www.fuckcombustion.com. 93 page thread on the Extreme Q.

$299, but you can get them for much cheaper on ebay. I got mine for $164 shipped, but without the warranty bc the seller isn't an authorized reseller. But so far, so good.

i owned both....the difference is the size of the area that lets the hot air flow through to make contact with the weed

The weed holders hole in the extreme is the size of a dime...the volcano is the size of a silver dollor

the volcano is by far the better choice thats why I still own it and sold my extreme

another thing i didnt like about the extreme Q ....glass to glass contact betwen the whip and weed holder they are both glass... they include 2 for a reason

A solid valve volcano should be able to hold 1 gram of grinded up marijuana. But I can't imagine anyone without an EXTREME tolerance to ever need to run that much through it in one sitting. how much does the XQ hold?

Don't quote me exactly on this, but I believe the EQV cyclone bowl holds between .5 (half full) to 1.0 grams (packed up to the black line). I can't remember what exact number was floating around fuckcombustion. I've filled the cyclone bowl up to the black before and got 5-7 bags @ 215-230c.

I LOVE my extreme Q have had it for 2 months now and have not smoked anything but it. The remote is SUPER nice along with with whip system I am extremely happy with it and for the price you can not beat it.

my girlfriends brother picked one up on ebay around 160$ and im very impressed with it. it comes with alot of attachments, and a remote, 3 fan speeds, a potpourie holder. they really thought it through and put together a nice package. ive never used a volcano but i cant imagine the performance being that different.

The only difference hardware wise is that extreme Q uses a fan to fill bags and volcanoes have an air pump, volcanoes fill bags faster and with a little denser smoke. Can't really say its worth the extra $300. I've smoked off of both, but I own a Q. Its all up to you tho. Personally I'd go with the Q, cus even if you have $600 to spend on a vape, why not get a $300 quality vape and $300 worth of ganja to stuff it with?

The volcano is overrated, and shipped in from Europe (germany). Good company, very expensive.

The Extreme is made in Canada, has a much better warranty. And is MUCH more versatile. It can do what the volcano can't. Forced air whip hits, hook it to the glass, remote control. If you were only filling bags, the volcano is better. Still the best only bag vape, just way overpriced with only one function. But variety is the spice of life and the Extreme is the jack of all trades. It will allow you to decide if you like bags, forced air whip hits, passive whip hits, vaping through glass, ect. It is variable temperature, and will allow you to decide what you like there as well. There is like a 90+ page thread on the vape @ www.fuckcombustion.com your best vapor forum.

A better warranty? It says lifetime, but in the fine print it also says "** Lifetime Warranty applies to heater failure only."
And since it has many more parts and bits that can easily break compared to a volcano...

I'm only saying volcano > xtreme Q at least as far as the warranty goes

Tell you what, you buy a volcano, I'll buy 2 extreme Q's for less money, we'll see who has a functioning vape for longer.

I so much wanted a bagging type vape but just couldn't afford a volcano on my retirement check......was thrilled with the release of the extreme Q....obtained one, traded off my hot box (which is also a GREAT vape)......good quality, love the remote ability, the shotgun function, bagging is the shit!!!!
I use all three function types of the E-Q and can't imagine anything being better.....On the Q cyclone fill...I use .2 -.25 g per fill.....bags off that much services 2-3 of us....
