Virgin run of new closed environment 4k room

First, if I'm posting this in the wrong place, my apologies. Straighten me out and I'll change my evil ways. Second, I've made a real hash outa this grow. It's my third flowering room in 2 years and I've made some stupid brain farts to go with the usual "getting to know you" period with a new space. Will get into that.

The room: (3) Sun Systems Magnum XXXL Ochos ducted out of the room by an 8" inline, 740cfm I think. (The source air for this run of lights also comes from outside the room and is already conditioned to about 70F. Right now I'm running (2) Hortilux Eye 1000 HPS lamps / bulbs and (1) H.I.D. Hut 600w "full spectrum" HPS. All dimmable, dual voltage digital Lumatek ballasts, powered via a Powerbox DPC-7500. (1) 48", unvented Vertizontal hood, not currently in use. (2) 6" 450cfm inline / centrifugal fans drawing from (2) 6" x 24", 2" thick activated carbon filters. (1) dehumidifier, 30 pint. Just now changing from bottled co2 to a C.A.P. natural gas burner...not yet in use (currently no co2 in use). Once I get the burner set up, it'll be controlled by a Titan Atlas 9. I usually have it set to about 1100ppm during light period. Numerous fans, fixed and rotating. Currently there is no reflective material on the walls or ceiling. Only so much $ to go around and I wanted lights and ballasts first. Will go with a knock-off pandafilm in another few weeks, but currently tapped out.

Soil: Simple, un-amended Roots Organic Original. Usually I throw in some beneficials: either Great White or Oregonism.

Nutes: The liquid line only of Roots Organic. I usually follow the published feeding regimen, alternating water-feed-water as RO directs. During this grow I effed this up, STOPPING the Grow nute almost immediately after the switch to 12/12 (shortly after 6/24/14). Don't know what I was thinking, but I cut off most of my girls' Nitrogen almost 2 months before I expected to harvest. I'm hitting my left hand fingers with hammer blows by way of atonement and punishment. Clearly I'm not worthy. Will try out the Flora series before too long, but I've got my hands full right now. Currently hauling gallon water jugs. Next expenditure (other than reflective material) will be a rez and recirculater. I'll initially just dunk a jug into the rez and feed by hand. When I can afford to upgrade to a fluid pump I will, and next year an auto feeding system.

Environment: Pretty consistently Light period temps of 79F to 82F with co2 of 1100PPM. Lots of air movement. RH hovers around 57%. I plan to rachet this down a bit but first things first.

Soooo, Challenges experienced since launch:
1. Got up to 90F in there once for maybe a couple hours
2. Had a co2 leak on the regulator for two days and ppm would spike to about 2000 and then shut down.
3. Forgot to include Grow nute after flowering began. Bad, bad grower!!!!!

Here are pics taken just a couple days ago. Again, sorry for the white balance. The light closest to camera represents the newest plants. This group went 12/12 about 7/4/14. Pretty much all HSO's Sour Diesel 2, maybe a little Dutch Passion Blueberry. Second light in went 12/12 6/24/14 and are all Sour Diesel 2 and Blueberry. These were supercropped about 3x, lollipopped and topped twice (for 4 primary colas). All in plain #5 pots except for one plastic air pruning pot and the smart pots supporting the small trees in back (20 and 30 sizes). The 3 plants in back are (1) former Blueberry mama and (2) well-vegged Blue Dreams. :leaf:

I usually pull 2-3 ounces dry from Sour Diesel 2 in #5 pots. I'm freakin' out on this grow. If I can still pull even one dry ounce from each of the #5 pots I'll be good. I anticipate 4-5 dry ounces from each Blue Dream plant and around 4 from the big blueberry. Target harvest date for the plants under the middle light is 8/31 (a week away). The two BD's and Mama Blueberry should get the chop somewhere around 9/10/14 and the closest group of plants should harvest around 10/10.

I should be OK with the trees in back. The Blue Dreams will bounce back easy and the big Blueberry still has enough leaves to recover and finish building those colas, I think (hope). The first group, nearest camera, are prolly young enough that they'll recover too. My principal concern is the group in the center, having lost so many leaves with so little N in the plant (or the soil by now).:wall:

Any optimists out there who think I can bring the center group back in time for harvest in a week? I think right now, on average, I'd struggle to get 1/2 ounce dry from these plants. Not that I'm super at such predictions.

Any help from my compadres at RIU?

Thanks for even reading, and should you have some solid advice, than blessings be upon you, eh?

Merci boucoup

hey man.. nice run.. for a virgin run.. for sure. the only thing I can say is.. get some Reflectix.. that will increase your yields.. and your lights can go a little closer to the plants.. but great job man.. also.. feed veg until the stretch has stopped.. then once u got dime sized nugs.. u wana do a PK BOOST.. and that will help the size of the nugs..

if u need anything dude just holler

Thanks, Joint. I gotta hold off on the relfectix until I have more $. I wish I felt better about my expected yield on this, but it just doesn't look too too exciting. Made some room and moved in 8 more blue dreams today in #5 plain pots. I appreciate your feedback, and will reach out to you again. Thx,

Nice setup bro. Cant wait till I can have that much sun in a grow room; it will be soon. everything is looking pretty good for not having lots of grows up under the belt. I would say the best way to get those middle group plants salvaged is to get some nitrogen in them. I don't know if R.O. has a N boost but you gotta get those leaves green to have a decent yield. If you don't have a N add then go back to veg food for a week or two or use half grow half bloom. Other than that bro looks pretty good!!! Remember to try and keep the leaves green all the way through.

Thanks. I did jack up the N and they look to have beefed up a bit in the last week. Trichs are just starting to turn milky so maybe I have some time yet.

Nuthin but good news. Started harvesting the middle group, all Sour Diesel #2 except for a Dutch Passion Blueberry. They seem to be averaging about 8 ounces wet, so I'm anticipating about 2 ounces / plant, which will be plenty fine. I feared it might be less than half that. This was the first time I'd done a whole light / 9 plants as one grow, rather than pulling a plant or two every week or two in a SOG. I tended these pretty carefully and I had a consistent canopy. No big standout colas, more like a table. Decent sized buds but not monsters. Lots of them, however. I put 8 Blue Dreams with a month of veg under the newly vacated light. All prior BD's have been trees yielding 5 ounces dry so I'm interested to see how the strain does in #5 plastic buckets.

I did lower my lights, JointOperation. The "hand test" says it's not TOO close and the plants seem to love it. Thanks for the heads up on this. It's gonna help a lot. The gift that keeps on giving.

Just hooked up a very old Gen1 natural gas co2 burner, replacing a steel bottle and valve.

Thanks guys. I really do appreciate the help.
