So I ordered the KS5000 for my 4x4 tent , 1st the driver is little over 2’ long and it sits up top outside of tent . The light pretty much takes up all of the tent leaving hardly any shadows . The plant is starting week 3 of flower so we will see how the light does thru this flower . I paid for this light so we will see how it does … the light is 19” from canopy .. I’ll be measuring leaf temps , temps in tent , humidity and gonna do some driver heat temps too ( did i say the driver is over 2’ long ,LOL ) . Here some pics .E4030CA9-C242-49DF-A9EF-A7DCD0133B5D.jpegDE3B5D01-7F53-4C6A-9E00-FB1BEBF59107.jpegF803666D-A13E-499F-9792-FB5A6AF3750E.jpegDE5DDEC9-C1FC-4067-BA83-A66645C095E3.jpeg

Hear a pic of the driver , sits on top of the tent .. specs , temp full power of the driver sits at 131 degrees , temp on light bar range 100-114 degrees. Full power wattage is 505 , 19 inches from top of canopy the par is 720 , power at 75% is 473 watts.. can’t get over how long the driver is , just over 2’ long .leaf temps 81 degrees .. will see what she produces . So far this light covers the 4x4 .I could lower it to get the PAR levels up but for now we shall see . update. Seems the KS5000 does not power all the way off when hooked up to the ac infinity 69 controller , but when it’s hooked up to a timer there all off… wonder if any one has this problem …. Right after lights off there of and then little later there a few on dimmed…..4D60EED3-68E4-47D5-9869-62AC77C097EA.jpegFF0D60FA-F0F4-42AC-875F-B75C532D28EE.jpeg

Did you ever get this sorted out?
The 4 ports on the Controller 69 are each programmable, as is the "all Ports" option.
I had "all Ports" set to 1 instead of 0 when I initially set up the exhaust fan, noticed when setting up a second port for the RJ12 PWM adaptor.
I have the same light coming tomorrow, wires are run, hopefully it will work.

ac infinty has no idea why it doesn’t work , and what I got from email from Vipar spectra is that it’s normal…lol… I’ve messaged Vipar spectra on here and told that it’s the controller and maybe I should get a different controller…I just returned it .. have no issues when I use Vivosun or HLG … and HLG is what I’m gonna keep using , best of luck to you and hopefully it works.. this issue is with upgraded ks5000. I’m not thrilled with the heat it produces with the driver and the light bar… and of course the driver around 2’ long … was kinda excited about a light bar but this just totally turn me off..
funny thing is that when lights off it works , but an hour later the light came back on dimmed ,so when I unplug the RJ 11 cord from the driver the light still stayed dimmed , when unplug from the wall went totally out , makes sense there no power…but as soon as I plugged it in they came on dimmed with / without RJ11 connected.when plug into a timer on the outlet it turn off like it should , just not from controller .. well it did then hour later came on dimmed …and yes made sure on the controller that when off it’s set to 0…

Gotta give AC infinity props… we tried everything with the controller and tried different connectors and still the same thing… now will it work with the older ks5000 I’m sure it will but not with there upgraded ks 5000 .. and I don’t have the $$$ to throw around to see which controller works .

The controller and duct fan are in another tent, so it's not a big deal if I have to use a timer.
More a convenience, figured I'd use an empty port if I had it.
Good to know though, I don't have to beat my head to figure out whats going on, thanks.

So the reverse trickle current from the power supply causes the lights to turn on, in a nutshell

That’s what I’m getting from it ….it shouldn’t be … if anyone wants to you can follow along with the AC infinity and hlg650r journal .I wouldn’t mind much , but I do like the “sunrise/sunset “ or dim to off feature.plus if the exhaust fan can’t keep up with keeping temps in range or getting to hot you can set it so the light dims till temps can be controlled on those hot days …. Ks5000 at 75% the driver outside of tent gets to 134 degrees and the light bar inside tent goes from 99-104 degrees F … the HLG with driver sitting on board runs 99-105 degrees F . 19” from canopy ks5000 is 740 PAR , HLG at 50% same height PAR 870. With UVA bar on it’s at PAR 960.
