Who the hell would want to use a government run phone company?

Have fun paying those outrageous taxes to pay for that government phone company... oh wait, you don't pay taxes, you live with your parents.

theres nothing wrong with it. Who cares they aren't tracing all your calls, nor are they looking at your text messages. Its $30 a month unlimited call and text and the phone works EVERYWHERE. Government run companies are leaps and bounds better than corrupt greedy companies

lol we don't pay any more in tax than any other province. In fact we pay LESS. The government run companies make EXACTLY enough to sustain it's self and no more. They are cheaper and more effective. Only reason why you wouldn't go with them is because you're paranoid

the only reason this dude uses a government cell phone is becuase mommy and daddy won't buy him a big boy cell phone plan.

i'll stick to my iphone with the overpriced plan.

Burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not really, I still pay taxes I'm of age and make money. Only thing I don't pay is property tax because I don't own a house, and even if I moved into an apartment I still wouldn't pay property tax. He didn't burn anything except him self for assuming I pay more taxes to run a self sufficient company. We also have government run hydro and government run auto/house insurance. My province is the cheapest province to live in, in Canada BECAUSE of our government run companies and they work amazingly well

Try blowing that smoke up someone else's ass.
lol just because America's government is a corrupt piece of shit doesn't mean every government is. Our government runs very well, it is an NDP run province and has been for a very long time.

How much insurance do you pay on your car? It costs me $1200 a year to insure my car, my car is a 2003 civic LX. A sporty car like a Cobalt SS costs 1600 a year for insurance. I bet you pay almost double if not more. It costs $20 a month to run a 400 watt system for 24/7 for a month.

edit: My government run auto insurance also OVER CHARGED me and paid me back $101 just because there wasn't as many accidents this year. This isn't the first time this year I've gotten a cheque from them too

i pay 100o for the year and i have an 09. my last car was a lot more bc it was brand new, leased and euro.
yea but whats your deductible and what are you driving? Mines $200. Plus I have insurance for 1 million dollars in damage in case I run into a building or something and its good anywhere I go even if I go to america and run into a building

in case you haven't noticed, you're the only one arguing about country vs. country...

where have I said that at all? I just said government run companies are way cheaper. You're the one saying shit like Canada is America's hat and troll shit like that. The province next door to me, it would cost $4000 a YEAR to insure just a van. My province is known to be the cheapest province in Canada and its all because of our (NDP) government run companies.

My Dad works in the province beside us, and comes over on his weekends. He hasn't switched over his insurance because our insurance is WAY cheaper. If he were to switch to the private corporate own insurance company, if he were to have any accident his premium would go up so much he wouldn't be able to afford to use his vehicle and he's a gold miner, making 80,000 to 100,000 a year
