Verification of leaf issues.

I am about 4 weeks into flower. I am running 9 plants in a RDWC setup. I am using CO2 @ 1400 ppm. Temperature is 82-84. I am running an air cooled 1000w hps. I am using the lucas formula. Initially my EC was 2200. This is ambient water EC of 300 or so and 1900 Lucas formula. I then phed, added epsom salt. I set the ph at 5.8 and it drifted to 5.6 over 7 days and the EC is 2900. I added 10 gallons of water to my res so the PH is about 5.9 and the EC should be a lot lower(I haven't rechecked it yet.) I just want to verify that is only nute burn and not a lockout or something I should be concerned with.

Also, bleaching under a 1000w @ 12-18" isn't a big deal is it? The bleaching doesn't hurt anything per se does it?

Looks like a little tip burn..nothing to get to concerned about ...personally though I'd pull the TDS back to under 2500...your leaf material is really dark green...if you like to that super dark green till harvest then keep it up...just my 2 cents good growing

DO you know what lock out is.. you have a chart.

Looks like minor Nut Burn..

I dont do hydro so... the leafs look good to me..


Light Bleaching = bad.. you dont have it on the pics// Bleaching is not Ok

I don't flush. I am not growing it for taste and I can't tell a difference in flavor either way. No point in starving my plants if there is no benefit. I run nutes til the end. Getting to 2900 was an accident. I added water to it and it is below 2500 now. I was just double checking myself. I will be doing a res change by the end of the week. I just needed reassurance, thanks.

I do have a chart. I know what they all look like. However, like with anything else, seeing something on paper and seeing it in person and being used to it are two different things. I knew about trichs before I ever grew, but looking at them through the microscope is a lot different until you know what to look for. I have never had an issue with nute burn because I don't push them. I have been pushing them a little harder than I normally would have since I added CO2. I was asking for reassurance more than anything. Ive still got 4-6 weeks left to go.

The leaves aren't completely bleached, they are just slightly fading where the light is the strongest. I have no heat stress or anything. This is my first 1000w grow and I have the light a little close, I will just back it off.

I'm glade you got it figured out man...I used to run it that way...I started flushing because I'm cheap water is cheaper than nutrient...and I've been using gh maxi bloom for years now...I'm about to give grow more a try... you'll like the c02 man rockhard nugs under a 1000w...good growing dude
