What kind of CAN-FAN + Vortex and ventilation do i need for a 14x12x9 room that contain 2 room inside (4x4x9) and 10x8x9

will have 20-30 plant with either 4x 600w or 4x air cooled 1000w (inside the big room) and 1x 400w mh (in small mom room)

so can someone suggest me a complete ventilation system for all this? (Including vortex, canfan, aircool and stuff)

To help you figure what size filter and fan you need, here is a simple way to figure it out.

Width x length x height = cubic feet

(to be effective-the air in the room should be exchanged at least once every 5 minute)

cubic feet / 5 minutes = cfm needed

example:
8 x 8 x 8 = 512 cu ft

512 / 5 = 102 cfm needed

htgsupply makes plenty of fans. I have their 4" fan attatched to 4" PVC pipe and down spouts attatched to my rooms (2). I have them vented to the window with a regular dryer tubing. All for under $20, cept for the fan which was $120 something.

a good one ;)

Your room is 1512 Cubic feet. Traditionally, it is recommended to buy a fan + filter to recirculate the entire room's air within 3-5 minutes. That would require a fan with anywhere around 300-600 CFM. Now if you are doing a stealth op, and noise is an issue with a small fan on high, I would recommend buying a larger than recommended fan, and also buying the variable/adjustable speeds control and setting it to Low. Please keep in mind, some Carbon FILTERS require a minimum air flow to scrub the air of it's contaminants & odors.

Can Fans are typically the best, I saw a youtube video of a guy putting a Can fan & S&P Fan head to head, and the CAN won bigtime. Buy a flange the same size as your fan (4", 6" or 8"), and the filter size needs to fit the flange. (The flange just connects the fan & filter).

Well good look to you in your endeavors!

Can's work. Check out the new Max Fans as power ratings are indeed lower vs traditional... pretty cool. Just got a 10" which is working just as well as my 12HO, with less power. Would recommend going bigger with both the fan & scrubber as this will last longer and/or ensure all removal. If necessary, get a Speedster to dial down the cfm's. So, try a Can 100 or 125 w a 10" Max Fan w Speedster. This should cover your needs, or maybe even more. A CF Lite will move more volume for you w the same fan vs the 100, but will require change outs faster. Don't skimp on security or air flow. Peace.

sorry for the sarcastic comment, i suck my growroom air thru a carbon filter -- into one of these

then through flexi duct out of my grow room ( shed) and up the side of the house into the sky,

other then that i cant really help, as my op is very different from yours

are you lights air cooled? get 2 6" 400+cfm can fans. 2-6" passive intakes. pull air through a carbon filter. just a bit more info needed to make this right. is the room in a basement? 2nd story, outbuilding, underground bunker?
