Hi I have a small cab (1.5x2.5x4.5) and am wondering how I should go about setting up my 165cfm inline fan, should I use it as an exhaust or intake. I have a fresh air spot to get outside air. It's about 11 feet of ducting from outside. Should I attach it to the spot and bring air in through the inline fan to a hole in the bottom of the cab and just use a small box fan to exhaust the air out through a hole in the top through ducting, or do it the other way around by attaching ducting to the spot and creating a small box around my box fan using it as the intake fan, and then using the inline fan for an exhaust out of the top hole. Please help, need to get most out of my fan as I am not using an air cooled hood for my light.:leaf:

Do you have any pictures of your setup? I'd use it as an exhaust. What kind of light are you using?

Get a thermometer and try both ways... Geeze, people are helpless now a days.
Although I am guilty of being a douche you don't have to be one right off the bat.

You could run it just like I run mine. It's quite efficient. My space is 3'x1.6'x5'

Its a small cab so my plan was to place the fan outside of the box because i dont have alot of room to work with. It should run effecient with the box fan bringing in cool air as duct booster from outside and attaching the inline on the exhaust side removing the heat i dont have a air cooled system many more upgrades still needed
