hi i'm new here been searching around for a while now and i'm having a little trouble trying to figure out ventilation for a new box.

i built an all in one box. flowering is done in a 3x3x6 section, veg is done in a 2x2x6 section. i'll be running a 400hps for flower and 175w mh for veg. both not on cool tubes. what would be the best way to vent this with out heat issues. is there anyway to vent this with 1 big squirrel cage setup.if so would i have it on the intake or exhaust? thanks for any help.

So the entire box is how big? Obviously six feet tall, but what's the total L and W?

If it's 5x5x6, you'll want at least a 200CFM-ish fan to for exhaust, and a little computer fan or something like that for intake, at a minimum.

However, as the above poster mentioned, I always go above and beyond for exhaust, so I'd go 450CFM for exhaust and 170CFM for intake.

Just my $.02.

since it's actually 2 different sections, would i be able to get say a squirrel cage from an old furnace and cut one hole up top in my flower section and cut another hole up top of veg section and have it exhaust both sections at once. and for intake get a 100cfm + bathroom fan cut in low for each section. i'm tryin to limit the amount of fans if possible.

the intakes not necessary if you run a decent exhaust just use passive, and if your temps stay right you can use the one main exhaust and be just fine.
