I would love to know what #'s your doing in each system but more into the af60 myself , a short time ago I was all about building but with a 65 70 work week I just want it done , no more 3 -4 trippers to the hardware store if all I need is a lil teflon tape Im hella stoked
Im using a less than avg. nute right now cuz its so F-N stable(rockwool formula 1)
and Ive always noticed problems when I left my pump on 24/7 so my pump cycle is 15 sec on 1 hr. off and I have to cut roots because they clog the return whole about the third week in
but after this cycle I will be making a move to either GH's 3 part or BC technafloras's 3 part I see about an overall avg of 16g a lady and remember doing more with BC so Im gonna swing that way

WHY IS THERE NO AEROFLO CLUB OR SOG CLUB ??

hey NP, only if you run an aerogarden theres a club =) but you can join our little gathering, so you have no issues running 15 seconds and 1hr off? and where do you get a timer with seconds increments? in a perfect world, when nasa started fine tuning aerponics, they go on a 10 seconds on 1 min off, i go 15/45 daytime 15/60 night. i run a DIY fencepost system BTW.... also i have seen you posting around and theres one thing i need to know, who is the girl in your avatar?

its my girl on va-k
I have an increment timer that allows me to run from whatever to whatever all the way down to 5 sec I chose 15 sec because everything gets moist after about 10 its pretty cool I thought
Im not home but when I do I will get you the product info , it was fairly cheap too 60 beans and this was like 5 years ago too

later on back in the bat cave,,,,, the name of the product is called encore repeat cycle timer it set me back about 60 bucks good deal and Ive been using it ever since- true story

i know guys on here use the cap cycle timer, it go 1/4, same price i would definitly invest in a seconds timer, 15 seconds on 5 minutes would be the nimber i would go for

as for aeroflo clubs, the closest your gonna get is the stinkbud thread, there should be atleast one for aeroflo, since the DIY and AF2 are miles apart, i couldnt relate to some of the issues i know af'ers get

Word.. I'd appreciate a AF2 group.
I'm building a setup using GH componets and custom tubes I call the Mega Flo2 now.
Thinking about making some square tubes and doing a aero square waterfall to a base of panda res.

Someone please start an AeroFlo2 Club!!! That would be amazing! Are you guys running your pump 24/7 or 1 min on 5 min off? NFT timer? or just plugged in.. I believe the manuel says to run it continuously but that gives the roots no time to get a real dose of oxygen and therefore it really is a fancy dwc system.. but if you add in the nft timer or even better the CAP ArtDNe custom and set it to 1min on 5 min off allowing maximum oxygen intake, then I see it being a real aeroponic system.. it would be so cool if GH would take some of those millions of $ of ours and develop a mister sprayer that doesn't clog, and then attach them to existing AeroFlo2 systems.. Time to write a letter!! Shout out to Stinkbud.. A true master at his craft and pioneer.. If you guys haven't read this already.. (https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/116859-harvest-pound-every-three-weeks.html) you do not know what your missing.. I'm half way thru reading the entire 800+ page thread... it's been a few weeks now.. haha

the manual (Manuel is a name btw) says to run 24-7 because it works almost as good as 1 on 4 off, reduces cloggage in spray lines and GH does not want to admit that another $100 item may be required with your purchase of the aeroflo2 haha.

I would hardly call this a fancy dwc system 24/7 on. The spray system is fantastic and provides a fine mist to the root zone that is not hanging out in the flowing water.

I have ready Stinkbud's DILM (DO IT LIKE ME) article. He get's great results. Leaves little room for creativity and actual learning with his "I dunno how it happened, but just do everything exactly like me and you will be straight" method. Personally I just don't want to switch to botanicare just yet. Be well stink bud minion.

so whats up with club AF2
did we just poo on vega's journal
no, club it up. I realized I was learning nothing new having a journal and reading various threads.

Doing some new stuff with flood tables so I'm trying to find related info. So far it looks like the entire population of earth is growing in expensive 6" rockwool cubes...ugg...back to forum scrounging. Lol the search tool is less than worthless.

Gvega, your alive~?!?!? long time bro,. lots has changes on my end aswell from DIY aero, im into Caps ebb and grow these days, dont have to worry about leaks and pumps and none of that. for my sake dont use RW cubes to flood or drip for that matter unless you intend on flushing your system weekly, just grab some 5inch net pots with hydroton. as you know RW holds onto water all too well, well it holds onto nutrient salts even better, thus skewing your ppm and PH reads.

haha wooooord up. Long time mr. Morris :D. Glad to see someone is still using hydroton out there. I totally agree that the pebbles have some serious advantages.

What nutrients are you using? How often do you flood during flowering? How often are you flooding right out of the clone box?..I find this particular number hard to fine tune.

I still do Aeroponics for my mothers and I have one of my DIY units in flowering. I made the switch to flood tables on the rest because of laziness and ease :D

Morris, do you know anyone else running a journal with ebb and flo pebbles? TTYL champ.

I agree about what you say on the rockwool. People seem to have great results on it, but I'm not trying to figure out flood times and such for the all absorbent rocktowel that has become so many's preferred media. Flood tables are lazy enough...JUST CLEAN SOME PEBBLES hahaha.

Mainly the rockwool is just so commercialized and expensive. You have to buy cubes and cubes that go into cubes and just throw them away when your done. The throwing away could make things easier or much more complicated depending on your situation lol. Why is there a thick plastic pandafilm around Grodan products? Are they really making so much money on you guys that they can package individual prodcuts in pandafilm?HAHAHa. I wouldn't mind so much if they made a 4 pack of grow slabs or something...like somebody is going to use 1 growslab in a 3x3' tray....no you need like 5 or 6. The whole thing just makes me sick. Buy a bag of pebbles, run them through water (does not have 2 b ph'd) and your go for launch.

Yeah, that was his name, Manuel. He said 24/7  j/k!

But yeah I have only good stuff to say about the Great StinkBud. I haven't seen any falice in his remarkable work for his patients. He does a very efficient job at spreading the love. Which all in all is his point. He has had great success from the teachings of his mentor, whom also provided for many sick people and spread the love by passing on his vast knowledge and ways onto StinkBud. A great guy and family man, who has now taken it upon himself to spend countless hours answering questions, posting photos and instruction Manuals.bongsmilie He doesn't have to let us in on his success and methods.. but he does it.

He "Spreads The Love" ~ StinkBud

Now that I got that out.. *:leaf:* AeroFlo2 Club *:leaf:* How awesome would that be??
Actual Aeroponic growers photos, designs, AeroFlo customizations and results of success to prevent others failure. Quality AeroFlo2 grow journals with Photos are very hard to come by on the net.. I guess it's probably because most of us AF2 users realize the whole danger in tracing a posting of a photo back to grow show..idk but it would be genuinely awesome if we all put our "cloas" (heads) together and make ourselves the best damn AeroFlo2 Club on the whole wide web!!! :bigjoint:

I would also enjoy an aeroflo group, or a DIY equivalent club! I purchased 3 of the tubes from GH and did the rest myself, I am currently assembling 4 more tubes from 5" square fence post from Home Depot, I will use GH spraylines and grommets in this set up, I will say that DIY takes time and patience, but is working! A res chiller is next on my list of purchases. Please contact me if anyone gets an aero group going, I would love to bounce ideas around. Oh yeah, I'll describe my grow a little--modified aeroflo 18 only using 11 sites currently. GH lucass formula with floralicious plus, florablend additives(would like to use floranectar but had res issues last time), I am also trying out SSU and Gravity, and will soon try Bushmaster! BTW I spoke with the founder of these products yesterday and he was a very intelligent, insightful man, who knows his stuff about cannabis! He sure as hell didn't try to sell me anything like other nute companies I have called. I will be doing experiments with his products and am expecting excellent results. I am using 2 daystar ac hoods cooled by a canfan 6"HO fitted with GE lucolux XHO bulbs for bloom, I also have a sentinel co2 generator run by their chhc-1, automated intake and exhaust fans and plenty of oscillating fans, oh yeah, I run my h2o pumps 24/7
