veg vs floweing

You veg as long as you want, you flower until it's done.
Nobody can give you a set in stone time that a plant will be done.
If you don't have a lot of room, or want a smaller yield, don't veg.
If space is not a limiting factor and you want a good harvest, veg as long as you can wait.
***This is assuming you're not trying to grow an auto.

You can just run a google search for the strain "flower time," and many sites in the top 10 will have the average flower time from the breeder. From what I've seen and heard, generally add a week or two to what that says.

Cheers!

Yeah breeders like to give you the very minimum time it takes to flower to sell it. 8 weeks always turns to 9/10. I like cloudy/amber trichs.

I would suggest vegging a plant for 1 month then flowering. See what that produces. You will get more yield every harvest just from being experienced/not messing shit up.

You just need to keep experimenting to see what works best with your setup.

Not only is short flowering times a big selling point, but you also need to remember they're grown in damn near lab conditions.

If you're looking for veg time on strains you can try going to some online seed banks, they will typically list the times for each.

Another thing to remember, is that some people consider 'flowering' to be starting the day they flip the light schedule.
Others consider it starting the day pistils show.

You can find times on seedbank profiles but your mileage always varies imo I let indica's go 10 weeks sometimes even some supposed "45 day" clone strains I let go 8 weeks cause I love me some amber triched indicas

just stay away from sativas and sativa doms and you should be okay! >10 weeks!

also what weighs more, a lb of bricks or a lb of feathers? Veg a few plants long time or a bunch of plants less time. Depends what you want to do!

veg=you control
flower=genetics
