veg temp max?

i want to know if the veg stage is similar to flowering , ex 85f would the highest before bud production is affected in flowering . what the max temp for veggie stage ,or is there even one? thanks

I don't know what the limit is but I try not to let it get higher than 86 or so.

28 degrees is the hottest I have had, it doesnt seem to affect but just recently I noticed the largest oldest fan leaves start to dry and die from heat, it looks odd, a leaf here and there dying remainder of tree ok but if it was left longer new growth would have been the same
Okay, 78 to about 82 f. is pretty near ideal temperature for "Lights on" - "lights off" temperature should be 10 - 15 degrees cooler. If your max temperature is 85 f., that's not too bad.
Higher temperatures don't kill the plants (unless you're talking about crazy-hot). The hotter it gets, the more the growth is restricted. I moved to a rural area about 12 years ago, so I thought I'd try an outside grow - didn't know anything about RIU or the Internet - but mostly I didn't know anything about "The 80 Degree Rule". Anyway, I live in The Inland Empire (of Southern California), Summers here are at least in the high 90's to the mid 100's, every single day! Temps top out at about 112 to 113 f. The average Summer day is probably 98-102 f.
I put 22 seedlings out, in 5 gal. tubs, in mid April (the weather was already warming up!). They grew to about 1 foot tall before the real Summer weather started. After that, they didn't hardly grow at all. After 6+ monthes of additional grow time (in hot conditions), all the harvested plants were 24-30 inches tall. That's what hot temperatures do - they restrict the growth process down to a "slow grind".
As for how high temps effect the flowering process, the picture isn't so clear (in my experience). By the time the sunlight hours got low enough to trigger "Flowering", the temperatures also dropped significantly (but still pretty warm!). Flowering appeared to be fairly normal, but there just wasn't any "Growth" left in those plants! I hope this helps.
