veg lighting advice

Tomorrow I will purchase a florescent light fixture and grow stand to veg out 12 six inch clones. Please advise as to whether I should go with normal florescent 4 foot shop light(inexpensive) or a T-5 set up. Should I go with 2 foot or 4 foot bulbs? Should I go with 2 or 4 bulbs? Is the T-5 a waste of money if we are going to grow outdoors after our clones get to about 18 plus inches.

I know the bulbs should be 6500k.

thanks.

bro get the t5 its cheaper to run and much brighter . standard bulbs are not worth it. make sure you get the high out put t5s, I suggest getting a 8 bulb 4 foot bulb set up, you will need it with all those plants, and if your on a budjet you can change the 6500 kelvin bulbs over and install 2400 flower bulbs in one light for every thing , a good light will cost 220 to 300 look at high tech garden supply for the veg light , 220 dollars a great choice, slimstar, you can do monster plants under it, only takes 450 watts 8 4 foot t5 bulbs, and smaller . you will be out up grad, spending double , late.r trust me on those shop lights, I know my stuff
