You have Cartel weed that is better then this?!?!?

HOOK A BROTHER UP!
To me that looks like breaking it open would smell spicey and hashy and taste delicious... I dont know what people are complaining about as the odd coloring and shape are most likely do to genetics and dont dictate quality of the actual smoke.

Excited to see the pre 98 bubba keep up the good work!
Has anyone here ever actually smoked the prebubba 98? I mean, i've smoked bubba kush 3 times, and not once did I enjoy the high. The high I felt was too much body with zero euphoria, which is what I look for in good weed. The taste was unique every time and i kinda liked that but i just did not ever like the high. Now everyone is raving about pre-bubba 98, and saying its the best verison of it cause it was ruined, yada yada yada... but has anyone ehere actually smoked a prebubba 98 grown from seed from cali connection, or is this hype all based on suspicion over actual experience. I'm not saying its not the bees knees, i'm just saying has anyone here actually smoked it to tell if its less than equal to or greater than the hype?

The Pre '98 Bubba Kush I will be reporting is the original clone-only version, not a S1 or a hybrid.

If you smoke a sativa looking for a body stone, or smoke an indica looking for a head high, maybe it is improper application? It may not be a high that induces euphoria, but it may have some other great benefits, you know?

I am not one to buy into hype, if the strain sucks I will be the first to say so. ;-)

Fair enough. Perhaps the bubba 98 just isn't my thing.

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: Santa Cruz Haze (1970's - Haze Brothers - Santa Cruz Haze)
Sativa / Indica Hybrid (Pure Sativa)
Growth: Greenhouse (or Outdoor)
Nutes: Organic (Speculation)
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 9.75/10.00

This is some of the more exceptionally beautiful greenhouse/outdoor herb I have seen to date! In no
way is it overly resin coated like indoor weed, but on some spots of the bud the resin is so abundant
that the bud appears to be white! The array of colors in this bud remind me somewhat of woodland
camouflage, only much more amazing.

Note:

I have heard rumor that Santa Cruz Haze and Black Haze are synonymous, although, I am unsure of this.

Fragrance:

This one has a somewhat traditional Haze aroma, but with a little twist. There is a hazy-herbal mix that I
can not quite pinpoint entirely, but nonetheless, is absolutely amazing! After the general Hazy aroma
floods your olfactory senses, an extremely pleasant Mangoish-Starfruitty undertone adds a beautiful,
Tropically-sweet aroma to this already amazing mix! A noticeable hint of a mix between Green and
Black Pepper compliments the Haze / Tropical Fruit mix perfectly! And finally, to top it off, there is a
noticeable pleasant, Citrussy-Sour nuance that with some help from a friend, was able to be determined
as being Lemongrass.

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Sweet : Fruity : Tropical : Mango
(Secondary) Sweet : Fruity : Tropical : Starfruit
(Undertone) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Green Pepper
(Hint) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Black Pepper
(Nuance) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lemon Grass

Flavor:

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

The flavor is definitely unique, yet somewhat indescribable as well. It is something like the fragrance, although
a bit less herbal, with an ever so slight nuance of peach (or something close, it is rather faint). The flavor
is rather pleasant to begin with, but amazing out of papers! (preferred papers: Club Modiano)

(Primary) Sweet : Fruity : Tropical : Mango
(Secondary) Sweet : Fruity : Tropical : Starfruit
(Hint) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Green Pepper
(Nuance) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Black Pepper
(Nuance) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lemon Grass
(Nuance) Sweet : Fruity : Rosacea : Peach

The High:

The main reason this smoke report has taken so long is because of this section! This high is impossible
to describe if attempting to capture even a fraction of its depth. Even though I am very familiar with this
strain, as it has been headstash for a while now, it is still difficult to conjure up a proper description.

This strain is one of those legendary strains that you only read about from the '60's - 70's! It is clearly and
distinctly purely sativa, but launches you so far out there that it induces comatose-like "couch lock". This
is a strain that can knock down even the lifelong oldschool smokers, as I have seen on numerous occasion
now!

Smoking it early in the day, with a cup of coffee, or in small amounts leads to a pleasantly upbeat, mood-
lifting, semi-euphoric, focused high. As a night time smoke, or in anything other than minute amounts, the
hazey effects are extremely noticeable! If you can manage to write, or think for that matter, the high is
extremely creative and somewhat introspective with a psychedelic vibration to nearly everything. It is not
particularly an energetic high, but it is stimulating enough to keep you awake and sometimes focused. This
is an extremely unique, one of a kind high that is unparallelled by any modern "Haze". The high is of a
medium to long duration, so if you have anything at all on the agenda, keep the intake to a minimum or
you will easily be rescheduling events!

Medical Value: * NEW *

ADD/ ADHD -

To the best of my knowledge I do not have ADD nor ADHD, but I could see small dosages of this strain helping
anyone looking for an alternative medication to dangerous prescription stimulants! I find that this strain allows
me to focus extremely well, even somewhat in large dosages.

Insomnia -

Awkwardly enough, for a Pure Sativa, sleep comes extremely easy after being thrown into the Haze-
Trance this strain can produce. I find it is very easy to relax enough to fall asleep and stay asleep. I
have experienced nights where I have slept 10+ hours after even a moderate intake of this strain!

Headaches / Migraines -

I find on low dosages this strain is very effective at alleviating headaches without producing an overly
potent high.

I have had migraines, clinically diagnosed, for many years without much relief from modern medication
(which was actually my inspiration to utilize cannabis medicinally).. this strain is simply so potent that if
using any sort of smoking device other than a bowl or joint, even some of the more brutal migraines will
succumb!

Pain / Muscle Tension /Joint Pain -

I find this strain is extremely efficient at relieving any sort of pain and most forms of muscle tension. Part
of the uniqueness of this Haze is the semi-narcotic body tingle that comes along with the expanding
mental high.

Nausea -

Definitely effective at alleviating nausea.

Anxiety -

I am overly impressed with this strain in this category! Being a pure sativa of this potency I was expecting
it to potentially cause anxiety.. on the contrary, this is one of the best anxiolytics I have come across. (which
includes prescription anxiolytics
)

Depression -

Although I am generally a very optimistic and happy person, I find this strain to be a definite mood-lifter. I
would not necessary say it produces euphoria, but I would not say it is far off!

Appetite -

This is definitely suiting for an appetite stimulant as well, which can occasionally be difficult after ingesting
large amounts.. eating through an entire fridge, or simply being too high to make it there, both sound entirely
plausible to me.

This is probably my favorite smoke, at least for the time being. The overall effects are legendary, whether
taken from a fully medicinal point of view or from a fully recreational point of view (or anywhere in between).
I recommend that if anyone has access to this strain to pick it up immediately! You will thank me, I promise!

I hope so! Best report so far Shepj! I gotta see if I can rep you again! Epicness in its truest sense! Favorite part of the written portion, of course, naturally, the new addition. Loved the medicinal portion got me thinking. I find that it can alleviate migraines, but not so well in me. Tryptamines service that aspiration, like no other! The pictorial portion, I can see what you mean by certain parts look white because of the Trich's, WOW!! The bottom picture is my favorite, look at those hairs outstanding. Very leafy though, I have no problem with that, just more to smoke and KB leaves are basically reggie bud! LOL

If I were you I wouldn't do a smoke report until after 2 weeks in cure in a jar... preferably 3 :) but 2 would give an honest fair assessment.

If he is going for the best flavor, fragrance, and high, I would say to cure it a minimum of 6-8 weeks.

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: Blue Dream (Clone Only - Blue Berry x Haze)
Sativa / Indica Hybrid (Sativa)
Growth: Indoor
Nutes: Unsure (rather bitter flavor, I don't think the flush was complete)
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 9.50/10.00

Another intricate strain with a variety of color from whitish-green, to lime green, to more darker greens, not to mention hints of pinkish-purple here and there. The bud has enough resin that it is easy to tell it is indoor, but is not overly resin coated. It is a pleasant mix, aesthetically, between outdoor and indoor.

Note:

The original Blue Dream cutting is a selection of DJ Short's: Blueberry x Santa Cruz Haze. Interestingly enough, before I had read this bit of information I had been saying that some of the effects resembled those of the Santa Cruz Haze.

Fragrance:

Blue Dream has an especially exotic fragrance, the easiest way to describe it would be if Nag Champa made a Blueberry incense. The fragrance is predominantly a Blueberry-incense aroma, mixed with hash-like to sandalwood undertones, and a hint of ammonia (in a good way). There is also a somewhat creamy nuance somewhere between a mix of sweet and sour, not unlike hot milk, which is an aroma I have always loved.

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Sweet : Fruity : Berry : Blueberry
(Undertone) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Black Pepper
(Hint) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Sandalwood
(Nuance) Sour : Dairy : Milk : Hot Milk

Flavor:

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

The flavor is definitely unique, but not nearly as novel as the fragrance. It shares the same berry - blueberry aspects, but is of a more bitter nature. A half decent way to describe the flavor would be to take an extremely
tannin-rich (bitter) blueberry-black tea, add some hashy undertones, and throw in a dash of jasmin. I think this particular bud either needed a longer flush or a longer cure, as it was a bit on the rather bitter side of things.

(Primary) Sweet : Fruity : Berry : Blueberry
(Undertone) Bitter : Vegetal : Plants : Tea
(Undertone) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Black Pepper
(Hint) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Sandalwood
(Nuance) Sweet : Flowery : Rose Like : Jasmin

The High:

This is another strain that makes for a great daytime smoke, assuming you minimize the intake. The name says it all, and the Dream aspect is purely in the high! This soaring sativa high can really throw you into the depths of your mind, which is great for introspection or writing. I find that with larger intake this strain
looses its functionability very quickly. This is a definite stay at home, or chill with a close bunch of friends style of high.. I would avoid large social settings or any overly meticulous activities.

I have found this strain is extremely therapeutic in the sense that one can see into stressful / depressing situations and come up with a resolution. It is of an anxiolytic nature, but not necessarily a big mood-lifter.

The most unique thing I have found about this strain is that it actually seems like you are in a dream! It carries a semi-psychedelic high, along with a somewhat floaty, dream-like state... I definitely recommend it to any herb connoisseur.

Medical Value:

Insomnia -

With "Dream" in the strain's name, you can not help but sleep sometimes after a session of smoking! Since it makes you fall into a dream-like state, it is easy to pass from meditation to sleep if one is not careful.

Muscle Tension / Joint Pain -

There is definitely a pronounced anxiolytic mindset that then carries into a more physical nature, producing an all around relaxed body and mind. It didn't necessarily alleviate the pain from muscle tension or joint pain, but it allowed me to relax enough to the point where it was not bothersome.

Nausea -

Another great strain for relaxing nausea, and I would imagine motion sickness as well. It leaves you with an all around calm feeling that I do not think anything could impose upon.

Anxiety -

One of the better Sativa strains out there for anxiety. The mindset is simply too relaxed to have a care about anxieties, which I find benificial as you can actually see into your anxieties with far more depth. It is very therapeutic in the sense that it does not temporarily treat the symptoms, but more so, gives you
intuition into the roots of ones anxieties.

Depression -

Amazing morning smoke in this regard. One or two puffs and it leads to a depression free day. I would recommend patients looking for an alternative form of medication for depression seek this strain!

Appetite -

Clear cut and simple I could eat a house on this strain, permitting I am not too high to leave my seat.

Therapeutic Applications -

I find that this strain could help those suffering from some personality disorders by giving a relaxing, therapeutic setting that allows one to dig really deep into the mind. The nature of the high is almost that of a psychedelic, as far as the mental expansion goes.

I would recommend this strain to those suffering from anxiety, paranoia, antisocial behavior, PTSD, etc.
