Vanilla Kush - Trichome question / worried about potency

Hi RUI,

I do not want my product to be weak, I sampled a bud on day 47, the high is not bad. (taste etc I am not judging)

It does not however feel anything like a couch lock type stone, although early, I was expecting a little more of a punch.

I am now 10 days on in flowering and am wondering if this would produce more of the full effect of the Vanilla Kush?

Here is a picture of the trichs today, day 57 since they showed, I am unsure of if I can harvest the majority of the plant now, or should I really wait for a good percentage of amber before harvesting? There are probably 5 amber on each entire cola at the moment, been that way since about day 50



Barneys says they go 60-70 days, so I am aware I am ahead of schedule.


I know CBD is nothing to do with amber, but perhaps CBD is only generated in a substantial amount at the very end of the flowering period, and I should wait?

And is CBN really bad to have if it somewhat resembles the CBD feeling?


Anyone with any experience of Vanilla Kush I would really appreciate your help...

First decide on what kind of high you want. If you want more head high then harvest in the next 5-10 days. If you want more relaxing and couch lock high then wait a little longer. Either way you should wait until you see some more amber. I would wait another week.
